Overall, an outstanding experience. The food came quickly, service was very good and zero weight when we showed up at our designated reservation time.

I’ve tried cheesecake at probably over 100 restaurants all over the West Coast in this place has the best cheesecake hands-down. From center all the way to the edge the cooking was perfectly uniform moist and flawless. The graham cracker crust was appropriately thin, so it didn’t distract from the cheesecake filling, and the notes of cinnamon complemented the flavor to perfect perfection. Everything about this place was simply outstanding. Atmosphere, service, food and value. Highly recommended. This is an awesome place where my family and I will definitely visit again.

This place was great and everything I expected when looking it up online. The atmosphere was dark and moody very cabin-like feels. The wait staff was inviting and our waiter was excellent at checking with us. The food was excellent every dish we ate. I had the petite filet mignon my boyfriend had the ribs the dishes came with mashers that were so delicious and we had brussel sprouts on the side also an excellent pick. Lastly I had to try the cheesecake and I was not disappointed at all! 😁 I would come here again 10/10 for me and mine. Didn't get a photo of our other dishes because we dug into them the minute they hit the table lol

Ribs done right! Meat fell off the bone. Just amazing. My mom had the Rib eye. It was delicious. We had a really kind waiter. The restaurant was super cute and gave cabin vibes. It was a little too dark inside tho. Some candles on the table would’ve been nice.

We had high expectations for our dining experience, but unfortunately, the service and food quality did not meet the standard we anticipated. Four out of eight of us ordered the Cowboy Cut, and all were served cold. We kindly sent them back to be reheated, only to have them returned still cold. To add to our disappointment, the restaurant only removed the cost of the Cowgirl Cut—the least expensive steak and the only one that was eaten—while still charging us for everything else.

Additionally, our server did not check in for drink refills, and while we understand that the restaurant was busy, the overall experience did not reflect the level of service and quality we expected, especially for the price we paid. Very disappointing.

Food was awesome & huge portions. We ordered the pesto chicken, gnocchi & blue cheese wedge. The pesto chicken was in a fabulous creamy sauce with the chicken done perfectly. The gnocchi sauce was creamy & cheesy -- incredible. The entrées were crazy steamy hot -- excellent. The blue cheese wedge was ice cold with big chunks of blue cheese, exactly what you want with the wedge. The bread was served hot with our water when we were seated. Would recommend this place anytime.

Such a shame because this restaurant is beautiful with a great view. We went this past Sunday evening. Our waitress was rude, and a little snobby. Our dinner was over $500 and there was one plate we sent back because it wasn’t good at all (shrimp pasta dish). It was sent back immediately after one bite. It wasn’t removed from the bill. The short ribs tasted like cafeteria food. And on top of that, gratuity was included which we normally wouldn’t mind if we had good service. Would not return or recommend.

I had an amazing experience at The Lake House, a high-end lakeside steakhouse in North Lake Tahoe. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening, and the service was top-notch. I asked the waitress how many ounces the steaks were, and she replied with a smile, "We don't weigh our steaks, we just cut off a generous portion." Understood! Lol.

I ordered the Filet Mignon, cooked medium rare, and subbed the mashed potatoes for Broccolini, with a side of sautéed Brussel sprouts. While waiting, I enjoyed a Knob Creek on the rocks. When my food arrived, I couldn’t believe how big the filet mignon was! I thought, “It’s too big to be medium rare all the way through,” but I was wrong—this was the best steak I’ve had in 40 years. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.

Paired with a nice red wine, it was heaven on a plate.

10/10, I’d come back in a heartbeat!

We were here visiting Lake Tahoe and came here for dinner for my birthday. Idk why this place only has a 3 1/2 stars. The food is incredibly delicious. I had a New York Strip and my boyfriend had a Filet Mignon. Both came with delicious garlic mashed potatoes. I definitely recommend this restaurant. 10/10. And next time I’m in Lake Tahoe I will definitely come here to eat. We took the leftovers home and had steak and eggs for breakfast and the steak was still and good and juicy.
We did get lucky as walk in’s but we sat at the bar because that was only available. And we are ok with that because we like to sit at the bar for better service.
Ohh and before I forget. You MUST try the home made cheesecake. It is sooooo good. We were so full but we still ordered it and it didn’t disappoint.
