Excellent food and large portions. Try the oxtail, lovely gravy and rice accompany this dish. Their candy yams are superior and make you want to ask for the recipe. Service was quick and the location is very convenient with great parking. I do wish they were open longer hours because their hearty portions are great for dinner. However their platters are so hearty that most people will be able to save leftovers.

My grandson and I are traveling through the south and were looking for some authentic southern cooking and we found it. The fried chicken was delicious washed down with southern sweet tea. And we were served a generous helping of southern hospitality. The women helping us were a joy to talk to. Thank you all.

Best soul food hands down in town.. I love the staff so friendly and inviting service and food is ALWAYS fresh homemade Pound cake is my FAVORITE..

Alright I’ve tried a few soul food places in Montgomery but based on the reviews I went ahead and ordered. The food was seasoned right the cornbread was perfect and the baked Chicken over rice

Food is 4 stars, but $10 for a very full togo box and a drink ill bump it up for the price can't beat that, and i don't wanna mess with a 5 star rating, ill be back.
