I really wanted to leave a good review.
However unfortunately, this was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences in my life. Upon arriving, I was informed that they overbooked and was placed in a different room. This was fine, as we know these things happen. When entering my room the floor was dirty and sticky, obviously hadn’t been tended to in a while. As well as stains on dressers, bedsheets, towels, couch, pretty much everywhere. When I called the front desk for replacements they let me know they had two towels left in the entire facility. The restroom shower had visible mold and red stains seeping from the tile wall. Roaches also made themselves pretty comfortable in the room with us. We slept on top of the bedding which was unfortunately since the heat did not work and our door was broken which let more cold air in. I’ve never spent so much time contemplating sleeping in my car! In hopes that no one else has this same experience allow me to give you a piece of advice, a motel 6 would be much more inviting.

My family and I were in between homes for about a Month and Half because 😍 Housing Market is broken ✨
But this Hotel was such a vibe we were happy to call it home for a short time. it was clean, open, in a great area, and overall was so comforting I truly felt at peace. The front staff was kind, and understanding really made us feel welcomed!

Guys idk why the reviews are bad, you got TWO rooms for way less than the market majority, a huge Door that opens to let in lots of air flow, actual black out currents, comfortable tub, small Kitchen, and Whole Living Room Section!? It was exactly what my family needed and more 🥰

Also the pool area was so clean and well kept, only was closed 1 day for maintenance and they were super kind about it ☺️

The ONLY con is that bc it's an open hotel checking in on a rainy day is lil rough but honestly worth it for the quiet, and comfort! Even though they were actively in renovations it was still very quiet for us, and it was cool seeing how they were fixing up rooms section by section.

I'd stay again anytime!!

My family booked several rooms for a family weekend to Knotts Berry theme park via a online reservation that we have previously used and trusted. When we checked in.. the facility didn't have our names even with the reservation confirmation
information from the online 3rd party. The 3rd party asked for the hotel fax to send them the information.
The front desk person said she didn't know it and went to the back. She gave us the wrong fax number and refused to offer assistance to find the reservation. Even with the confirmation information shown to her.
Also the front desk person, instead of trying to help us and other walk up guests she continued to use her personal phone and text. So much for professional face to face assistance. The professionalism and customer service is seriously lacking.

While on the phone with our 3rd party booking site.. we were told by another guest the same happened to her. They used a different booking site.
That other guest had her son purchase another room unnecessary funds.

And to top it off its spring break!
We luckily found another hotel that would accommodate our family in a more reasonable manner.

The worst hotel I have ever wasted my money on! Do not come here! I chose it trying to save some money as we’re here on a family vacation to Disney. I thought hey why not save some money well I learned my lesson the hard way. They give no room service throughout the whole stay even when requested the first time they said oh it’s cause you have to let us know in the morning if you want room service okay so let them know the next morning then the guy said oh it’s cause we only do it on the third day of the stay! Are you kidding every hotel I’ve stayed at offers room service after each night. So it’s the 3rd day I still went to front desk to ask for service they said okay I’ll let the housekeeping know (mind you she was in the room next to mine when we left) just got back and still no housekeeping. I’ve had to go to front desk each night to ask for clean towels. It’s five of us and they gave me 2. It’s a joke here I will never try to save money again I’d rather go pay 200$ a night elsewhere and get the service that is expected from a hotel during a stay. Rooms are old and smell of mildew. Sofa couch had no sheets or blankets, I also had to go ask for those. The microwave is gross and so is the fridge. They offer no bottled or filtered water and none of the amenities listed are working. The phones don’t work and I bet if they did they wouldn’t answer.

Should be zero stars. Rooms are outdated and dirty. General manager is an absolute jerk. They don’t even have towels or washcloths for the rooms. They gave my family of 7 1 wash cloth. General manager said it wasn’t his problem we didn’t bring what we needed. I’ve never had to supply my own towels at a hotel. No housekeeping services.

Worst Hotel Experience – Stay Away!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Buena Park Hotel and Suites during my business trip. The room is old and dusty. The service was incompetent, unorganized, and unacceptable.
• Night 1: The heater didn’t work, and my room was freezing cold. I could barely sleep. On top of that, the toilet wouldn’t flush. I called the front desk, and they said they would fix it the next day—which is already unacceptable for a basic issue.
• Day 2: In the morning, I had to explain everything all over again to a different receptionist, who was completely unaware of the issue because the previous staff never passed on the message. I came back from work in the evening, and the toilet still wasn’t fixed! I had to request a room change.
• Night 2: In the new room, while trying to sleep, an extremely loud and irritating screeching noise started coming from the bathroom. I waited over 30 minutes for someone to respond, but nobody did. I had to physically go down to the front desk in the middle of the night just to get someone to address the issue. I was moved to another room again.
• New room: The next room smelled absolutely awful, a mix of rotting smell and dampness. I couldn’t stay in it and had to request another room change.
• Final room: Finally, in the fourth room, the heater wasn’t working again! I tried calling reception multiple times, but no one answered. I then went down to the front desk and waited for nearly two hours—and the lobby was freezing cold. Standing there shivering in the middle of the night, I kept hoping someone would finally show up, but by 1 AM, still, nobody was there to assist me.
Waited Until 2 AM Freezing – After hours of waiting in the cold, a staff member finally picked up my call at 2 AM. Instead of offering a real solution, he just said he couldn’t help and the best he could do was give me more blankets. At this point, my face and head were freezing, I was shaking uncontrollably, and I had a headache from the extreme cold.
• Requested Another Room Change – I begged to move to a room with working heat, and he said he would check for an available room and call me back.
• Ignored Again – No Response Until 3 AM – I waited another hour, but no one called me back. I called the front desk again, and no one picked up. Completely abandoned, left to freeze.

The room was so unbearably cold that at 5 AM, I had to go to McDonald’s as soon as they allowed dine-in, just to warm up and prevent further health risks.

This is beyond unacceptable.

This hotel completely ignores guests in distress, fails to provide basic necessities like heating, and does not respond when help is urgently needed.

❌ No working heater in multiple rooms
❌ No response from staff for hours
❌ Unprofessional and unhelpful service
❌ Ignored my safety concerns even when I was shaking from the cold

This isn’t just bad service—this is negligence. No one should stay here!

The Worst Part? It Affected My Job & My Health!

After multiple sleepless nights, I became extremely tired, had a terrible headache, and eventually got sick. This completely affected my work performance, and the exhaustion ruined my entire business trip.

DO NOT stay at this place. It’s poorly managed, unresponsive, and a complete disaster. Stay far away from this place. If you value your safety and well-being, do not book here.

Customer service was bad they are rude and don't seem to care at all. Room was cold ac was stuck at 65 degrees I so told nothing they can do. I asked for more towels and bedding for the pull out but took an hour and received 2 towels and 1 blanket was told they had no more blankets. And no bedding No housekeeping came in too clean 1 trash can for the whole room . I called and asked for more toilet paper was told no one to bring it to us had to go get it..lock on bathroom was broken mini fridge did not work.
Just a bad place to stay will never bring My family here. Don't waste your time are money here.

While I felt safe and everything worked and the bed was comfy, there were a couple things I didn't understand. Why did I hear sirens 2-3 times every night? Why does the bathroom door slide and have a hook for a lock instead of a normal door for a normal lock? And can't we at least have more counter by the bathroom sink? I could barely set my toothbrush and toothpaste on it. And I usually don't ask for maid service but I thought why not. I asked for maid service twice (and I used to be a housekeeper so I had expectations) and we didn't get any. Not even a bed made or trash taken out. But hotel was in good condition. I have no serious complaints (we found a random spoon) but there are so updates they can do.
