It's a nice hotel. Location is great. Staff is friendly and professional.
The restaurant serves delicious items in generous portions.
Lots of beach items (chairs, sand toys) to check out for free. Beach cruiser bikes are maintained regularly. I drove 30 miles along the beach and the Santa Ana River bike path.
Social hour at 5 p.m. is fun for all ages with a choice of beer, wine, or soda.
I couldn't easily find answers to these bulletpoints on the website, so here are my observations:
● there is an in- room refrigerator
● breakfast is a la carte only
● free coffee & tea from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
● no ocean views from the rooms
● no swimming pool
● no hot tub
● no bathtub in the room
Overall I highly recommend coming here.

Best front desk anywhere!! Just this experience and impression alone makes me want to come back again I recommend highly! Location is perfect and the rooms are clean and lovely. My next trip will be here. Omar was exceptional he is personable, professional and very kind. I wish more hotels could provide this type of experience

I just returned from a fabulous 4-night stay at the Kimpton Shorebreak, marking my 10th visit in the past two years. Despite the many options in Huntington Beach, nothing compares to this gem. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the extensive list of amenities available to guests is impressive. My favorite aspect is their pet-friendly policy, welcoming pets at no additional charge and even providing a "doggie bed" and bowls for their comfort if needed.| |The front desk team is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Special shoutouts to Danny, Freddy, Adan, Kel, and Jessica, who truly enhance the hotel experience. The location is unbeatable, directly across PCH from the ocean and pier. I can't recommend the Kimpton Shorebreak enough and cannot wait to return!

Great stay! Our room was clean and spacious! Functioning turntable with (Hotel California) vinyl in our room and a curated selection at the front desk ⏺️! Free drink for guests during happy hour from 5-6pm, free bicycle use for guests, chairs, towels and umbrella 🏖️ provided for beach use. Free s'mores kit provided for roasting marshmallows on site...the lobby was very active with ping-pong table, games and lounge areas. Pretty cool!

Great location with wonderful staff! Kel, Adan and Steven were all so helpful as we checked in. The lobby has all types of games you can play and the record player in the room was a hit with my daughters. The restaurant had a great breakfast. We will definitely be back.

We just got back from our fourth stay at the Shorebreak. Cant say enough about how amazing all the staff are! rooms are amazing, great food at the restaurant! my daughter loves playing ping pong and the nightly smores! we love taking the complimentary bikes on the bike path down the beach. cant wait til our next stay already... truly a 10 out of 10!

The atmosphere is amazing! Danny and Vanessa were super friendly and accommodating. The vibe of the lobby is chill but upbeat. Will definitely come back again! The smell and the amenities are unbeatable! There are bikes and accessories for the beach that are included in the stay.

Recently had a 4 day stay at the Kimpton Shorebreak and I cannot express how fantastic it was. Despite the early day stays involving lots of wind and rain, the resort was still a fantastic location. You are a very short walk to the beach and the pier, with lots of fantastic shops and restaurants around. 5/5 would definitely be willing to stay here again in the future!
