Felt safe. Loved being walking distance to the ferry and the cute farmers market area and shops. Room was clean but I think we got a handicap room and I didn't like the shower. Liked the balcony. The employees were helpful and kind.

Staff was great. Room was nice. However, we might not be staying at Marriott hotels as much after this visit.

We booked a room on the hotel website and disclosed that we were bringing a pup with us. We reserved a pet friendly room. There was literally nothing mentioned on the website or during the reservation process about the $150/NIGHT fee for bringing a pet.
We were not told about this until we were checking in.

This is an older property, but it is quite well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and offered excellent suggestions for touring. The bar offers a very good menu with a large variety of eats from snacks to meals - everything we tried was good. This is a great place with easy access to the Ferry to get a quick ride straight to the San Francisco waterfront. Access to main highways is easy as well. The main annoyance we had was having to pay for parking for an open, unsecured parking lot (this is a money grab by the hotel) While we would consider staying here again, the irritation of the pay for parking would be enough to make us look elsewhere.

Location was amazing. No free breakfast was lame. Room was awful. Hated the bed and age of the room. It felt old. Won't stay there again.

We loved this hotel! We were touring the USA West coast and had to stop near San Francisco. I therefore was looking for a hotel were I could leave my large SUV in the parking, and also that would allow us to easily get into town using the ferry.
We also had read so much about the homeless problem in SF that we wanted somewhere were this would not be an issue.
The Courtyard in Larkspur was perfect for all these points, it allowed us to get into town in less than an hour but also felt very safe, like a small village out of town. My daughter really like that feel. We actually ate with locals in the village next to the dock and it was great! The hotel is a bit old but very well maintained, we enjoyed the starbucks coffee. The rooms was small but sufficiently big still for four. Wifi & parking were both great.
Last but not least what is nice about taking the ferry is that it allows you to vacation (somehow) as you are crossing the bay in the morning, and then you take it back in the evening, so you feel you are in a very safe place even if close the SF. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back if I am staying in this region.

Very well kept property, kudos to Housekeeping and Maintenance. Front desk was welcoming and friendly. We had our grandchildren with us and everyone at the hotel made them feel special. Just a great place to stay, open air mall across the street was wonderful, with restaurants, shops and place for kids to play. The area around the hotel is safe and clean as well. Couldn't be happier with our stay!

Directly across from Larkspur Landing (shopping/dining), this hotel is well located, extremely clean, with a great bistro. The front desk employees are friendly and accommodating as best as feasible.

And excellent location a five minute walk to shops, coffee, and restaurants. Convenient to a beautiful mall as well and to the ferry landing. This hotel is great, pet friendly, and the rooms are well appointed.
