A SWEET RETREAT MUST VISIT!
This place is awesome! The staff was friendly and answered any question I had. The ice cream was delicious! My kids enjoyed the experience and got their ice cream fast. Whether it’s your first time or this is a familiar place for you, I encourage you to see everything that log cabin has to offer! Especially if you’re visiting, you’ve got to experience the log cabin at kings beach! You won’t be disappointed!

No joke, whenever Tahoe is mentioned this ice cream place is in the same sentence. The fact it seems like it's just in the back as a hole in the wall makes it that much more enjoyable. The vibes are sooo chill and friendly. Everyone is in a good mood. Even if they are waiting for a while. Everyone is respectful. That's my favorite part about this place.
Of course of course the ice cream the Gelato, they can't be beat. But what truly can't be beat is the Affogato. I got the tiramisu Affogato and my lady got the honey lavender Affogato. If you've never had it before, get it from this place. Their coffee is so bomb and then you add ice cream or Gelato, it's like hitting the Jackpot.
Try this place. Like immediately. Actually you should've tried it yesterday.

I got the moose tracks ice cream in a one scoop. Your scoop is decently sized, but about $7 without tip. The ice cream itself is fine, but I had much higher expectations for what's putported to have been voted best. My wife agreed the ice cream we have at home in the freezer is better. Cute place though, and they do have seating with shade, which was nice.

Great Ice cream and gelato spot with outdoor dining area near by Kings beach. The place is small with 2-3 people working with huge orders. So, the line did move slowly, but they did their best in serving their customers. We got hot fudge sundae and a smoothie. Both ice cream and smoothie were served with generous portion and loved the taste of it. To complement it, the outdoor area was pleasant to enjoy our ice cream. Highly recommend this place!

How can you not give ice cream 5 stars.. ok well nevermind there are bad ones out there. Thankfully, the ice cream here is good, and they have a good selection of flavors and concoctions.

Their shakes are a good size, and the Mr Chip Sunday is loaded with chips. This is a good stop to cover that sweet tooth craving.

Pretty bad ice cream with sizes that are honestly laughable given the price.

Everything about this place screams relying on people who won't be coming back. Luckily review apps like this one help spread the word: DO NOT COME HERE for a tiny portion of ice cream that is purchased somewhere else and has ice crystals.

Great place to get good ice cream! We thought the place was close because the business is located around back. They have a nice little Courtyard so you can enjoy your ice cream out there. Ice cream was good. However, a small dish of ice cream was $6 each.

I absolutely loved how they had at least seven different gluten-free options, and they were very amenable to making changes to the menu based on your preferences. For example, you could put your Crabs Benedict on top of spinach instead of regular egg muffins or even gluten-free bread. I also get a side of gluten-free pancakes which were absolutely delicious and really big. It was Swedish style pancakes! Also, I got a peppermint Italian soda that was less sugary, and very delicious. I would definitely come back here again, if I was in the area.
