This hotel was super cute, and the room and bathroom were a great size—definitely comfortable and well-designed. One of the standout features was the shower, which had a clear glass wall into the bedroom—such a sexy touch! I also loved the small details, like how they hid the extra toilet paper in a bag—a delicate and thoughtful addition.

However, there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom shower was dirty in the top corners, which was disappointing and took away from the otherwise nice setup. Only one elevator was working, which led to some waits when getting in and out. Parking spaces were also a bit tight, making it tricky to exit and enter the car after parking.

The biggest disappointment was not knowing about the food credit until checkout. Since we checked in via the mobile app, no one mentioned it, and we could have enjoyed drinks the night before had we known. Another downside was the noise level—the soundproofing wasn’t great, and we were woken up in the middle of the night by garbage pickup, which was frustrating.

Also, it would have been nice to have the option to sign into a different streaming service on the TV instead of being limited to only one.

Overall, the hotel had a lot of charm and style, but better communication, cleaner details, and improvements in noise control would make the experience even better.

Great location with a very good restaurant on the top floor. Its about a 10 minute walk to the La Jolla Shores Beach and about a 30 minute to La Jolla Cove. We stayed in the Ocean View King room and was really comfortable. There is a daily $30 charge, but you will get a daily credit back to used at the restaurant. Also, if you are a Diamond member your will get a $15 credit for up to two people per day that can be used at the restaurant, bar or snack shop. So potentially a $60 credit per day. We used the credit both days at their restaurant. The food was surprisingly really good. We ate there for breakfast twice and had dinner twice and enjoyed their Happy Hour. i would stay here again if I was in the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were beautiful!! We stayed in Room 511, which is a corner room, so we had a large balcony and another smaller balcony. The room was quiet.

The staff is incredible. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I’m a heavy Hilton user (diamond) who travels often for work. This is a great place. The rooftop restaurant food and service is top tier. Resort charge and diamond room credit is also a great deal. I couldn’t even use all of it, it’s that generous. Never heard any other people from my room and it was sold out. Starbucks right outside the property is convenient too. I’ll be using this location in the future on my next trip!

Walking into the Hilton Curio La Jolla is like taking a step into an atmosphere that is serene, relaxing, retro yet modern. Not only is the penthouse bar and restaurant delectable with fresh foods and wholesome selections, but the view is amazing. The support from Hilton’s front desk director was top notch, her name is Edlyn. She arranged for an early check in and made the experience seamless. We were very grateful that she looked after us and are looking forward to enjoying a wedding here this weekend in La Jolla. Thanks as always, Hilton!

We had Sunday brunch for my Mom's birthday celebration. Eddie at Sea and Sky is the best! We enjoyed the delicious pancakes and brussel sprout salad. The view was spectacular as was the service. We had a great time! Thank you for a wonderful birthday brunch for my Mom.

The room was spectacular. We had beautiful views and good customer service. The room was very very clean. The location was excellent. We were very close to the beach and great food. We did not get to try the food at the hotel because it was very pricey. I would for sure recommend this hotel and I would book again in the future. Safe area!

I worked with Laila to plan a breakfast party for my birthday (and my engagement!) she made the plans for everything very smooth and it was all perfect! Good food, great service, and an even better view! I had the chorizo, mimosas, pancakes and homemade cake! Delicious. Will definitely be back!

Location of hotel is fantastic. In a quiet part of La Jolla and close to airport & La Jolla natural park. The hotel and rooms are in desperate need of a complete remodel. Furniture in rooms is old, outdated & worn. |The hotel interior is also dated & old looking. It’s really a shame as the views & pool are fantastic & facing the ocean. Hilton, please remodel this hotel!
