Gigi (concierge)helped make our vacation at Terranea very special. She went out of her way to help us with everything we needed and beyond. This was our first time here and Gigi made our vacation go as smoothly as possible. Gigi had also done something very special for the kids in their individual rooms and it was such a warm welcome to our family.
The service and dining experiences at Terranea were amazing. Mason helped make our dining experience very enjoyable. Also the view was gorgeous and it was very peaceful. I would recommend this resort anyone interested in a five star resort experience.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here for the last few days of a week-long baby moon in California. Everything was perfect from the room and view to the food and spa. HIGHLY recommend getting the app and making reservations for all meals so you don’t end up with a long wait time! We had excellent service at every restaurant. They got a bit busy at times and seemed short-handed at times (mostly Catalina), but nothing outrageous and the food was fantastic. I had an amazing prenatal massage and enjoyed relaxing in the spa for a few hours. The adults only pool was nice and quiet and family pool was fun to watch. The pool closed in time to enjoy a quiet dinner with a view of the ocean. Overall, a wonderful experience and have recommended to others.

Beautiful stay! We arrived later than planned (2 am), on a red eye. The gentleman at the front desk took pity and upgraded us to an ocean front suite. Very clean and upscale property. Latin villa vibes. Impressive and friendly service. Gorgeous spa, pools and fitness center with ocean views all around. Great access to hiking trails. Room service and restaurants felt like fine dining. Must try Ricotta Pancakes! Yum!

This was such an incredible experience! I went with my best friend in Feb. 2025 for a birthday weekend. We were lucky enough to get upgraded, and the room was absolutely fantastic!!! The service was impeccable, the views were breathtaking, and the property was really well maintained. We enjoyed our dinner at Bashi—so much that we ordered it to go the next night as well. Overall, it was truly a memorable weekend thanks to everyone at Terranea.

I’ve loved this place for so many years and I go there every opportunity I get. I haven’t taken part in the extra activities such as canoeing or archery yet but one of these days I will. The restaurant are phenomenal. The quiet scenery is excellent. The staff from housekeeping on up is fabulous. I love this place so much! It’s a great get away if you can afford it. Pop up taco stands, heated pool, a great coffee shop, stores not too far way if you need anything.

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful resort! My husband and I stayed at one of their casita rooms for my birthday getaway. We had the gorgeous views from our room and we got to enjoy the sunset from our private patio. Everyone at the hotel were so professional but also friendly and they made our stay so special. The newly renovated spa was stunning as well.
We can’t wait to come back for our next stay!

First, staff was very attentive and courteous. Also no matter who you asked they all knew the answer. We hosted an event similar to a wedding and the food and service was also top notch. We did not bring our kids but it also looked to be kid friendly, there was a decent waterslide and a very large pool. We also noticed an adult only pool. We were only there for one night. I will definitely host future events there. The staff really stood out and made a beautiful property even better. The room was very clean and looked to be refreshed recently. The carpet and fixtures were in good shape.

We just returned from an amazing stay at Terranea and wanted to share our wonderful experience from our early Valentines getaway. ||Our stay was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. We left feeling recharged and rejuvenated from the tranquility that the Terranea resort offers!||We would start our mornings at Sea Beans (Terranea's on property coffee shop) getting our tasty Chai Latte with an almond croissant. We would then walk the grounds and marvel at the beauty of the breathtaking coastline and the sensational resort itself. ||We relaxed poolside in their newly renovated spa facility throughout the afternoon, swam in their heated pool while overlooking the coastline. ||We finished off our relaxing day getting dressed up and headed to mar'sel for a sensational meal- the butternut squash soup was delicious! ||A perfect day to share with my Valentine!!||Throughout our stay, the staff was so nice and incredibly helpful. They would always insure we were well taken care of. ||As we were heading back to LAX, we commented on how close (approx. 15 miles) the resort was to the airport, but we felt like we were worlds away from the bustling big city. ||We can't wait to head back! |Thank you, Ralph, and all the Terranea staff.
