You need to go here! What an amazing time with the family. We packed a cooler with drinks and lunch and spent 4 hours enjoying the time floating down the river. We recommend stopping from time to time and enjoying the scenery and wildlife. Bring a lunch and drinks. I also recommend parking at the end then taking the bus to the start. Great easy time nothing scary at all about the river. Water is 2-3 feet deep in most spots. There are a few pools along the way you can swim in. We had a blast!

I had done this before as a child some 40 years ago and have fond memories of it. I don't get to visit Tahoe as often as I wish. When my wife and I were in the area for a wedding we had some time to our self and I suggested rafting on the Truckee to my wife, who I wasn't sure if she would be into it. But she loved the idea and after driving up from the town of Truckee stopped at one of the rafting companies randomly. The folks at 'Truckee River Raft Co.' were fantastic answered all our questions and made some recommendations. The next morning, having made a reservation the evening before online, we showed up and hit the river. Just the 2 of us, on a beautiful day floating down the Truckee. We had a somewhat early departure time so the river was not very crowded and we did spend some time kind of alone on the river enjoying the peace and quiet. I can imagine this would also be fun with a group of friends and family. Truckee River Raft Co. ends your journey at a restaurant with a wonderful riverside patio. As we enjoyed the patio I watched as boaters came down behind us. Happy that we had chosen Truckee River Raft Co. the staff were all friendly the price was reasonable the Raft was good quality and in good repair, and the river and trip were amazing.

2-3 hour event. We've done it twice now... best to bring drinks and snacks and sunscreen! Also, there are places to stop and swim along the way. At the end of the trip, best to put on your life jacket, especially in early summer, the water is ice cold. Also, in the beginning there's this pipe covered in gum.

Great Little 2-3hr Rafting trip on the Truckee River right out of Tahoe Lake. everything is ready when you get off the Bus,
Safe for the Whole Family.

We had a blast on the Truckee River! The process was so organized, and we loved the freedom to float at our own pace, get out and swim, etc. Our dog had a great time - thanks for being dog-friendly!

Loved this trip! Beautiful views and you can go at your own pace. Rapids aren't bad and if you get stuck, strangers help you get out which makes for a fun time. Theres places you can stop along the way so this can be an all day event.

Gentle paddling along the river with only a couple of points of real fun. Water is beautifully clear. A bit pricey (40$ per adult)

Great day on the river. Excellent staff in place and they took care of everything.
We would do it again in a heartbeat, but next time we will bring a picnic lunch and stop anywhere along the river.
