It was a really good idea to meet my friends for breakfast at this coffee shop. The croissants and other desserts are delicious. I had a matcha latte and it was delicious. There were a lot of people in the place and it's a really popular place. I was satisfied and will definitely come back here.

Love, love, love il Giardino di Lilli! Very cool vibe, beautiful setting, all of my senses are enjoying when I come there. I am even okay standing in a long line, bc it’s worth it. I like the charming outdoor sitting, cute wallpaper inside, great selection of croissants, and paninis.

Their pistachio croissants are phenomenal, if they don’t have it anymore, I order almond or Nutella ones. My favorite panini is with tuna- but I recognize, not everyone’s cup of tea.

Their lattes are delicious and they offer a complimentary refreshments while waiting. I can always hear Italian language while I am there and Italian music, which adds its charm.

A tip: try to come earlier in the day to be able to catch a wider selection of desserts.

Amazing food and scenery. The matcha lattes and mocha are good. It also has a very good atmosphere to sit in and read for an afternoon Quite busy so may be hard to find a table but once you do get one it’s great. My friend studies here for hours; personally it’s too loud for me to do that but maybe if that doesn’t bother you / you have noise cancelling headphones then this would be perfect. My boyfriend and I enjoyed sitting here to read.

Il Giardino di Lilli is a hidden gem in La Jolla! I tried the hazelnut chocolate tart, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, perfectly balanced, and indulgent. The lavender agave latte was a delightful surprise, smooth with just the right touch of floral sweetness. The garden seating area is charming and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great treats. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast places ever! Croissants are to die for, their sandwiches are amazing, coffee is really good, and service is amazing. So many options to choose from, you won’t regret trying this place out. Weekends are very busy and there is always a very long line. I went on a weekday and there was no line and they had a lot more options and weren’t close to selling out.

What a charming place, lovely staff and incredible food. I wish I had another week in town as I would eat there everyday until I could try all of the menu. Let's start with the croissants and other baked goods. Just fantastic, texture, taste and the variety of flavors makes it so hard to choose. We had Almond Paste, Pistachio Paste and Chocolate Croissants all were excellent. The coffees were wonderful and the vibe of the place is what you would expect a French Pastry Shop in Southern California to feel like. Want to go back again and again.

We drove 45 minutes to try this bakery and are so sad because now we know how good it is and we live far away! We came on a Saturday around 10am and the line was down the side of the neighboring store. It took about 30 minutes to get to the front. The lady at the cashier was knowledgeable about the menu items and super sweet. We got a vanilla croissant, pistachio croissant, nocciolina( nutella with espresso poured on top), the lavender agave latte, and split a Pacino coppa. The croissants are beautiful but nothing special in my opinion. If you come here I'd get lunch and coffee instead. Our sandwich was incredible, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Nutella latte was a bit too chocolatey for us. It needed less Nutella and more coffee. The lavender agave latte was perfect. Definitely a hidden gem in La Jolla. We will visit La Jolla just to come to this place! Unfortunately I just got a picture of the crossaints. Seating is a bit cramped when busy. It is hard to move around inside when busy.
