We floated the Huzzah in kayaks. We went on a Friday morning, and it was not crowded at all. The water is clear, especially when compared to the Merrimac.
The country store at the resort is very large and well stocked. Bathrooms and showers were clean.
We will go again.

This place is REALLY expensive! And is definitely geared towards the "party" vibe kinda people. I took my 6 teenagers for family day floating and it was definitely all drunk partying people. If that what your after you'll love it but if quiet family chill type thing then I wouldn't come here. 2 night 7 people was $250! And 5 kayak rentals for float was another $250! And that AFTER military discount. Camp sites are nice mostly and on water which is why we go but they run out of electric/water sites quick! And bathroom is a single porta potty like per block we used woods. Only showers and real bathrooms are attached to main entrance store. So you will need to drive for those.

Loved this resort. We had a camp site on the water and it was beautiful. Love that you can order pizza and have it delivered to you. The staff members were all very nice. We went during the week and it wasnt crowed at all. We brought our dog and he was allowed everywhere we went including the store. The only negative thing I have to say is that although there was a portapotty very close to us which was super great, it was absolutely disgusting. Probably the worst I had ever seen. I did ask when checking out and they are maintained by a different company. All in all we loved it and will be back.

Fabulous Day on the river to celebrate my Dad's life...Love Huzzah. Rafts are so fun and relaxing....Huzzah a beautiful clear spring fed river. Easy to get too...

I've been here 5 times since 2015. My wife and I really love the place. We rent an A-Frame cabin and they've been recently updated. The float trips are fun. They have horses and a trail. Volleyball courts. Playgrounds for the kids. Each cabin has its own outdoor grill, fire pit, picnic table, and deck. If you like relaxing and not constantly being on the go, this place is for you.

Had a great time here. Staff was great. Very busy at check in so take time to do so ahead. Store is very clean and well stocked. Cabins are clean with air conditioning but have no stove, linens, towels, utensils, etc. take everything you need as they have nothing stocked in them. They also have very steep stairs to get into the loft areas and minimal protection on the catwalk between the bed rooms. Small children MUST be watched. We blocked out stairs with a baby gate. Float was great and hanging by the river on the sandbar was a great time!!! Staff was definitely on the ball with taking care of the property. Very nice and clean!! We’ll be back but I’ll be more prepared next time!!!

We did a kayak trip. Rental was easy. Jack was our driver. That guy rocks! He left us with good info and a cheerful smile and wave.
