We had the most magical and magnificent stay at the Beach Retreat and Lodge. Anastasia and Joey at the front desk were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly, and when we returned for a second stay, they made us feel valued and special. Customer Service at its finest!

The beachfront balcony room is peaceful and quiet, and offers an EXTRAORDINARY expansive view of the Lake and mountains. We went in the off season in late March and felt as though we had a secluded private beachfront retreat. There is a fireplace in the room which enhances the overall experience of warmth and invitation. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, and the shower is brand new with dreamlike water pressure. These elements make for a perfect respite and return after long days hiking in nature.

The location is close to downtown with excellent dinner options (McP’s offers nightly live music until 11 pm and we saw three really excellent musicians three nights in a row). And the location is also somewhat removed from the main road to retain the quiet and peace. The lodge is only about 30 minutes from East Lake Tahoe and its pristine turquoise waters.

We cannot wait to return again and again.

We had the best stay! This was our first time at this hotel, and it definitely won’t be our last. The staff was great. The restaurants were even better. Nina was the receptionist working while we stayed and I can’t say enough great things about her. She gave us pointers on driving in the snow, good restaurants to eat at, and gave us options on activities in the area. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and answered all of my questions. Thank you all for the great service.

The view is beautiful! They provided s’more with their fire pit (multiple fire pits on site) activities finding shamrocks with amazing prizes! (We got 25$ voucher to the restaurant) the best part is the staff esp Sierra at the front test. She is very personable, very accommodating and truly one of the kind. I worked with the public from insurance and the county and I can tell you she is very rare! Thank you Sierra for being so amazing!

We stayed here over the weekend and enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. Check in was easy and all of the workers we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. When we got to our room there were a few small things that I noticed, but nothing too serious. Toilet was clogged upon arrival, but they immediately sent maintenance to fix it. There was a piece of trash left on the bathroom counter, and the AC/heating unit didn’t turn off unless you unplugged it. The rooms also don’t come equipped with a microwave, which was a bummer, but there’s one in the lobby for guests to use. Aside from that, the room was nice and spacious. There was a gas fireplace in the room that was amazing and worked great. There is a small beach behind the hotel so we could check out the lake and take walks near the water, it was beautiful. At night time they have several fire pits going outside and the front desk gives you smores kits, which was a super cute (and yummy) touch. They have a restaurant/bar in the lobby that is fairly priced and offers good food. The woman working the restaurant, Tamara, was incredibly sweet and helpful. She was running the entire restaurant/bar solo, but was smiling and friendly to everyone who came in. WiFi was strong, which was helpful cause I had bad phone reception everywhere I went. The hotel is pet friendly and lots of people had their dogs with them, so if that’s not your style I’d definitely keep that in mind. Very family friendly location, overall we had a great experience and would be willing to stay here again.

My go-to place to stay with my wife or friends during ski days is Heavenly Resort. The staff is incredibly accommodating, kind, and always goes above and beyond to ensure our stay is top-notch. We always make an effort to book a room with a lake view because waking up in the morning is a peaceful, quiet, and relaxing experience. As epic pass holders, we appreciate the convenience of having the shuttle to Heavenly Resort right in front of the hotel. Huge special Shout out to Nina, Anna and Sierra for going out of your way to make our stay one of a kind!

This is my second time staying here it is amazing the view is perfect ! All the staff are sweet. Nina checked me in both times I've stayed and she's been super helpful and sweet. They have a lil store in the lobby and they also do s'mores. I loved my stay

I give a 5 for the service. Nina and Sierrah were incredibly hospitable and very thorough upon check in. The resort has a great location. The only downside is the property is a bit dated. Our fireplace wasn't working so we called the front desk and again, Nina was very responsive and sent someone over immediately. Shaun did his very best to fix the issue and was incredibly gracious, but could not do so, therefore we didn't have a functioning fireplace for the duration of the stay. Not the end of the world but would have been nice since it was there.
