Honestly wasn't stoked on the place from the pictures but it far exceeded my expectations. My room was spacious and looked like it was recently renovated. Fresh and very clean. Fireplace was cozy to warm up next to after skiing. Didn't make it out to the hot tub but so nice they had one. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay here again.

Firelite Lodge in Kings Beach offers a seamless and modern check-in experience. There is no physical front desk; instead, guests fill out an online form prior to arrival and receive check-in details via text message. Despite the remote process, the staff is easily reachable by phone for any questions or assistance, ensuring a smooth stay.

When we inquired about a toaster before our visit, we were told there wasn’t one. However, to our pleasant surprise, a new toaster was waiting for us in the room—a thoughtful gesture that showcased their excellent customer service. The room was well-equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and even some paper plates and wine glasses, making our celebration extra special.

The highlight of our stay was waking up to a stunning view of Lake Tahoe right from our bed. The lodge's location is unbeatable, offering easy access to the lake and nearby attractions. Coupled with its reasonable pricing, Firelite Lodge is an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and great value.

Overall, our experience was delightful, and we highly recommend Firelite Lodge for a cozy and memorable getaway in Kings Beach!

Cozy room with a partial lake view and comfortable beds. There is a gas fireplace that adds to the welcoming feel. Kings beach is at a walking distance. The hottub is open 9-9 which was very enjoyable. The curtain in our room was a bit stuck (could not open fully) and the bath towels were a bit small, otherwise a great experience!

Went there with my wife and two children. Across the street from the lake, great location for getting to various ski resorts. Spacious, well equiped and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Contactless check in and out worked as expected. Free parking and wifi. The hot tub was a nice feature after a day at the mountains.

5 stars as everything was fine, but it's not a fantastic place, it's a decent cheap place. The room was clean and somewhat modern, but small and with the bare minimum in terms of amenities, with small basic towels and a not-so-efficient heating, as it's just a small fireplace. The public hot tub was pleasant to use but also small and minimaliat looking.

We were really pleased with our Firelite Lodge experience. The room was excellent with a great view of Lake Tahoe (room 327). The bed was large and very comfortable. All the facilities were great for us.
Check in and check out was quirky but very straightforward. Despite not having a lot of personal human contact (although I did speak to one helpful guy) the online communication was excellent with many helpful and quick responses.
I did use the hot tub once in my 2 night stay. The October weather was wonderfully warm which definitely enhanced the whole experience.
Plenty of places to eat despite being late in the season.
I recommend a walk up to the nearby Stateline Fire Lookout for great views of Lake Tahoe.
I would definitely recommend the Firelite Lodge and would love to come back.

My family and I stayed at this motel for two nights in November 2024. We are truly satisfied. Room was clean and nice located. We had an amazing view on Lake Tahoe. Also, we enjoyed hot tub in the evening that is behind the parking lot. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy without visiting the office. I highly recommend to stay at this place in Tahoe Vista.

The fireplace makes the air extremely dry, a humidifier in each room would be a great addition. The view was beautiful, location was accesible to Safeway and all the popular ski resorts. We had a good stay!
