An amazing trip to Cuba. Everything was well planned, yet flexible based on guest preferences. There are so many highlights to share but first a shout out to Audrey and Marta who were amazing and made some things work that may not have been the experience with other companies. I was first anxious due to the news about blackouts etc. not a problem as the Cuban are resilient, the places we stayed and dined had generators. The itinerary on line is spot on but until you experience it come to life—- that is the true experience. Thank you Classic Journeys for work well done and adding me as a repeat guest

Classic Journeys is a world class travel company. I’ve been on two trips with them so far and plan to do many more. Every trip is curated with thoughtful walks through local villages, connecting you with local business owners, craftsmen, and makers of all types. Through small groups, these trips enable an honest and genuine look into real people’s lives - and cultivate heartfelt experiences of connection. You eat amazing food with local family’s, stay in luxury boutique hotels, and have the most fantastic and knowledgeable guides. Each trip I’ve been on has been an enriching life experience because of the thought they’ve put in to every day. I would recommend Classic Journeys to any traveler who wants to learn and connect with a new place and feel like a local while doing it.

My husband and I had an amazing experience in Cuba with Classic Journeys. Our guides, Marta and Audrey, helped make every day memorable and filled with special experiences. We truly feel that we came to know the beauty of the Cuban culture and its people. The memories of our time in Cuba will stay with us forever,

This trip EXCEEDED my expectations. Each moment I was in was my favorite.
One of my favorite visits was at a local farm where we met the owner and his wife. Each person made bread...While it was rising, we hiked for a couple hours through beautiful countryside. Upon returning, we watched our bread being baked in a local stone oven
and then ate it during an amazing lunch of fresh made goat cheese and tajine!. AWESOME!
On another day we visited a nomadic family that moves from place to place during the year with all their animals. Imagine having tea in their home. Walking through the centuries old Medina in Fez was mind boggling and incredible. On our last day, we hiked
outside Marrakesh meeting children along the way with whom we played...were invited to tea (again) and then saw the opposite in a beautiful vacation home of a Moroccan fashion designer's family.
There was not one moment of this trip that could be missed!

Great itinerary, wonderful people, solid organization
The outline of this trip is very solid--a comprehensive highlight reel of Iceland's unique natural beauty. The tour ran smoothly as described, with no logistical missteps. We had several activities that aren't in the ordinary day-to-day of most tourists, like horseback riding, snorkeling with insulated wetsuits in very cold water and ice hiking. For each of these, the tour provided equipment that worked perfectly in exciting but also safe venues.
The guide and personal connections are what took the whole experience to the very best level, however. We got to meet people we never otherwise would have, and learned about the history, geography and lived experience of Icelanders.
I am already plotting my next trip to Iceland based on this

My husband and I traveled to Morocco with Classic Journeys. This was our first Classic Journeys tour and we have already signed up for another trip with them. We had two guides and two drivers throughout our 8 days, for our small group of 16. We really enjoyed getting to know our guides as well as the other travelers in our group.
We saw amazing sites, ate at nice restaurants, and stayed at great hotels. I often book trips on my own, but I really liked that I didn’t have to spend a ton of time planning the trip. Classic Journeys handles it all and has local guides that know the area well and not only share information about the area we are visiting, but about the people who live there and their customs. When walking through a market our guide would stop and talk to a vendor, have them explain what they were making and would let us taste it. We had several experiences where we interacted with locals and were invited into their homes for tea, bread making, or lunch. These were amazing experiences that really made our trip.
Classic Journeys handles all the planning and logistics of the trip including transportation to various places, checking in and out of hotels, selecting a restaurant and even helping to choose what to eat. This takes the work out of traveling and helps enable us to enjoy our vacation and the experience.

We took the week-long tour of Cuba which was exceptional. The guides, Audrey and Marty, were incredibly buttoned up and willing to make any request possible. There was not a single dropped ball throughout the week. The boutique hotels Americans are required to stay in are incredible, exceeding out expectation based on the photos online. The various activities were very well organized and interesting. The people of Cuba are incredibly friendly, in spite of their plight. If you're thinking of taking this tour, do it. You won't regret it!

Our tour of Cuba was fantastic. The lodging was excellent, the food was plentiful and delicious and the tours were well organized, interesting and fun! I learned so much about beautiful Cuba and the struggles of the wonderful Cuban people. If you are lucky, Marta and Audrey will be your guides. They are both energetic, knowledgeable and kind, and have a knack for anticipating the needs and wants of their guests before the guests know them! This is a tour I will remember and talk about for many years to come. If you have been considering Cuba as a destination, I highly recommend Classic Journeys as your tour company.
