I’ve been looking for a place to get an alignment and was happy I came across AT230, they’re quick and careful working on my car. I loved that I was able to work at the cafe while being able to see them work on the car. Very reasonable prices and great environment. I will be coming back in the future for installment and alignment needs!

I thought this would be a convenience-store style coffee place, but it really exceeded my expectations. The inside of the store is well decorated with lots of seating and a lizard (?) in a tank in a corner of the store. They also have driving simulators next to the entrance of the store.
I got the Taropresso latte (espresso latte with taro syrup), and it tastes amazing. Good place to work, hang out with friends, or just sip on coffee and look at car maintenance through the wide window they have on one side of the store.
Really nice and friendly workers. They had a cute Valentine’s service and gave out a rose with coffee orders.

Cars and coffee but an actual coffee shop! The barista was nice and I loved the clean garage atmosphere. Next time I’m going to try the racking sims. It’s about $12 for a 10 min racing sesh. They also have a menu for car mods and vinyl wraps if you’re interested in that.

Saw this place on Instagram and wanted to try it out. It is a small coffee shop located inside a fancy autoshop called at230 Cars and Coffee in La Habra. They hold monthly car meets. I tried their hot Taro latte and I thought it was really cool to see a printed logo on the coffee foam.

I came here to get an alignment and have my new tires mounted, and balanced. To be clear, this is my side of the story, and while the owner did try to somewhat resolve the issue, I felt it was important to leave a review so others are aware that this situation can happen.

Everything was going smoothly until it was time to pick up my car. I have white Gram Lights with a pearl flake finish that I had gotten powder coated a few months ago. The person working on my car was a younger guy, but I trusted that he knew what he was doing, especially since this is an enthusiast shop—the main reason I chose to come here. I didn’t want to risk taking my car to a non enthusiast tire shop, especially since it is lowered/modified.

When I got my car back, I noticed that three out of the four wheels were scratched with rash from the tire machine. I went inside to say something, and the owner came out to speak with me and look at the damage. At first, he told me that this sort of thing happens from the machine and that most of the marks would rub off. I explained that I had taken my previous wheels to other shops (even non enthusiast shops) and had never experienced anything like this before-where the scratches could be felt with my finger nail deep into the powder coat. Me and the owner went back and forth a few times until I called a friend who is knowledgeable about the specific machine they used. I put him on speaker and he spoke with the owner, explaining that the damage was likely caused by negligence from the technician who mounted the tires. After that conversation, the owner started suggesting that the scratches might have been there when I brought the wheels in and that they would’ve made it right if they were brand new (but since they are used I probably brought them in with the damage?). To be honest, this statement was pretty shocking.

These wheels had been mounted at evasive just once before, less than 6 months ago, and they didn’t have any scratches then. I’m very particular about the condition of my car, and these marks were clearly from the machine today. He even went so far as to show me his Porsche with recently mounted tires, pointing out there was no damage to "prove" that his machine wasn't responsible. I simply told him that while his Porsche’s wheels may not have been damaged, the young technician did, in fact, damage mine.

We went back and forth for a while, with the owner insisting that the scratches may have been there when I brought the wheels in. After about 15 minutes of him trying to polish the scratches out (with no success), he offered a refund for the alignment, though still stating he didn’t think the marks were his/the person who mounted the tires fault.

I appreciate the owner trying to make things right, by offering me a refund on the alignment, but I’m still left with 3 damaged wheels, and the refund for the alignment doesn’t come close to covering the cost of the custom powder coating on my wheels. Honestly, I would’ve preferred not to have had my wheels damaged in the first place.

I’m writing this review to let future customers know about my experience since I thought I was paying an enthusiast shop to be extra careful. The coffee shop itself has a cool vibe and concept and I did enjoy waiting in there but I won’t be returning. Just wanted to warn any future people who bring their wheels here

Edit: the time to report the damage was within 5 minutes of getting the keys back while still in the lot. I know the condition I brought them in, though used-not damaged. If you bring your wheels here take an entire video of every inch of your wheels because they won't take responsibility

December of 2021 I had my 05 LS430 UL bagged by AT230. In the year that I have been on air, I put 25k miles on the car. Never once have I had a single issue besides one very small thing and it was fixed in 2 days. Air runner is genuinely one of the best air suspension companies around! The car rides fantastic, very similar to stock while keeping the vehicle low. I did a 250-mile day trip and not once was I ever concerned about the air suspension. Shin and Tyler did an awesome job and are extremely communicative while maintaining a professional shop experience. During the installation, they ran into a small issue and called me to see how I would like to proceed. The fact that they would take the time to call their customer on an easily resolvable issue is just awesome. I never once would hesitate to recommend or have any sort of suspension work done by AT230. Like their suspension work their coffee is high quality. Every time I get something from them it never disappoints. The coffee shop portion is very aesthetically pleasing and always kept clean. AT230 is seriously one of, if not the best shops in Socal.

I can't say anything about their automotive services, as I can in for a drink... Ironically while waiting for my car to get serviced elsewhere down the street.

While i waited I figured I'd look for a local spot to get a drink that wasn't Starbucks.

Walked down and got the matcha latte. It's solid. The waiting area / seating area and comfortable and inviting. Definitely didn't feel out of place for sitting in there and enjoying my drink.
