We went in on a rainy morning, and it was pretty busy inside. We were sat down by a kind lady and then someone else asked about our drinks and someone else about our order.
I ordered orange juice and it tasted very natural.
For our food, I ordered the ham skillet, it was pretty good with all the veggies, though it felt like it needed a bit of seasoning.
My husband ordered the Green Lovers Omelet, he said it was good but not the best, but he might be biased as he doesn’t really enjoy lots of vegetables in his meals. I can see why it’s called the “green lovers”. With my order, I was able to get the biscuits and gravy. I am not a big biscuits and gravy person but I can say it was good. Overall it’s a small cafe and pretty good.

Worst experience by far in a restaurant. Arrived at 8am with a party of four we placed our orders by 815am. We waited nearly an hour to receive our breakfast orders. The portion sizes were smaller than any other restaurant I’ve ever been to and the food was cold….. the hamburger we ordered was BLOODY BLOODY not cooked at all and the waitress said that the cook said he plated the wrong patty because he was cooking multiple at the same time. The cook should know the cook times on each item he is preparing in order to avoid foodbourne illnesses. We also never received our coffee and saw that it was charged on the bill. The staff was not apologetic nor were they accommodating. We paid our bill in full which was nearly $100 for four small plates and no coffee. It was a disaster and we will never go back. There are many great places to eat in Hanford and Green Valley Cafe is one I would definitely skip. All our stomachs hurt and the experience was below one star…

Wow great place with the best biscuit and gravy 😋 the place is clean and comfy and the food and service is great the chop steak and eggs with hash browns are delicious and the price was great 👍 And serve breakfast all day 😁🙌 I highly recommend five stars for the Green Valley Cafe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great mom and pop locals place! If you live in town for long enough you're bound to run into somebody you know here! The regulars and waitresses are all on friendly terms - almost feels like you're stepping into a large community living room with all the camaraderie and smiling faces!
Food tastes great, too! Nothing "fancy" or out of the ordinary. Quite the contrary, just good 'ol classic American comfort food, think breakfast: omelette, pancakes, sausage, eggs, bacon, etc... and light lunch fare: salads & sandwiches.
Wouldn't hesitate to return!

It was just great. Breakfast was great and I second the recommendation of others to pay the extra 50 cents for the blueberry muffin. Best of all was the service. My server was an incredibly beautiful young woman with gorgeous blue eyes who called me "darlin". Can't get better than that!

First timer here, we decided to give it a go after reading an article shared on fb. Friendly atmosphere, no wait time, I decided on the breakfast skillet (served on a plate), the veggies needed a lil more time on the skillet, felt like they were chopped & thrown on top. Other than that, everything was really good, definitely will make another visit soon to try other options.
