Food was excellent! We were craving Mexican food. This friendly mom and pop were super friendly and served up well executed Mexican food. We're from the Bay Area. So we know what's up. Our ground beef taquitos and crispy taco were super crispy as advertised. Our boys loved their carnitas and carne asada tacos. Tamales were very meaty and flavorful with the red sauce. We would definitely come back to this cute Mexican restaurant.

For all those who complained about their service... well it was a full house on the Sunday night we went in December. So they may not be super attentive or fast, but they are friendly and happy to serve up good food to hungry customers.

My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, good food, and the staff. They were friendly and attentive. The food was really good...not too spicy, but certainly not bland either; just the right balance. Prices were good for what we ate.

The food was great, good portions, good presentations and drinks were excellent. The highlight of this place was the superb attention and customer service from Gio. The friendliness and warmth from Gio made us feel right at home. We will deff be coming to this place again.

Some Lake Tahoe locals recommend this place to us. And we are so glad we went! Awesome place! The food was delicious and authentic, great pricing for being in a tourist town! Good size portions and it didn't take to long to get our food!
They have indoor and out door seating! Kid and pet friendly, a full bar! I had a veggie chimechunga! It was stuffed with veggies and covered in a red sauce! SO SO good! The salsa was great! Nice bite! If you don't like spicy maybe skip, or ask if they have a mild version.
Parking was a challenge, the place was packed, line out the door, but they moved it through quickly. They are only open til 8p so dine early.

The food was fine. Nothing to write home about but overall we were hungry and it did the job. The restaurant is well placed for those wanting to be near the lake and parking.

It was completely empty so the food arrived quickly enough but overall it was just, good enough. I wouldn't make a trip specifically to eat here.

A cozy mexican restaurant located in North Lake Tahoe. It’s very close to King’s beach.
We got the chicken tacos and chicken fajitas. Loved the fajitas, chicken was very flavorful. The tacos were nice but I’m more of a food truck no lettuce tacos person so this wasn’t my favorite.

Overall the food and the ambience is nice and I’d recommend to anyone wanting to wind down the day with some yummy Mexican food.

My family and I are from out of town and settled on this Mexican restaurant based on pricing and reviews. I ordered the asada burrito with no sauce and it only came with cheese and meat. My daughter got the taco, enchilada and tamale combo. She said her beans were dry and didn't eat them. We both got sick the night after eating them. The food tasted almost old or microwaved. This was the first place we had eaten at while starting our stay and we had food poisoning all weekend. It definitely ruined our vacation.

No frills Mexican restaurant that hits all the notes. Excellent food and fantastic service. Went here for dinner two nights in a row. Really enjoyed our meal.
