Loved it. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Upstairs has a two bed option and downs has one. Definitely booking in January again as we are back in the area for business. Very close to old downtown which is a bonus.

Overall 5/5 Wifi 5/5||Downtown Hanford is safe and pleasant.|This is one of the best Rodeways I've stayed at. Room and motel were clean and in good repair. (The motel was recently renovated.). The room was spacious; somewhat sparse but had everything you need. Check-in was smooth and easy, check-in man was friendly and helpful. Hot water was nice and hot. Artwork on the walls. Wifi was good. Location good.||Cons: parking seemed a little tight. No towel rack by the sink for hand towels ( apparently a trend in many recently renovated motels.) No grab bar in the bathtub.||Architectural note: the motel, while plain, is fascinating. It is two-story, long and narrow to fit onto the building lot. The rooms have exterior doors, in the mom-and-pop motel style. Probably dating to the 1970s, it was built when the surrounding parking lots had standing buildings. As such, for privacy and maybe security reasons, the building has plain, windowless outdoor walls, with an inner "courtyard" that runs the length of the building, somewhat like a low castle, with an opening at each end. This courtyard includes the parking area, so the entire experience is self-contained. | There are similarities to a Frank Lloyd Wright structure. The motel feels low to the ground, and the sense of scale initially feels compressed, like a 7/8 model, until you get in the rooms, which are nornal sized. | It's great that the owners are maintaining and upgrading the building. The building is almost interesting enough to qualify for a national historic registry.| Downtown Hanford is clean, safe, pleasant and thriving. Like the motel, it has been revitalized.

Inexpensive clean room. Could not beat the price. Expecting a gross dirty infested room, welcomed a clean ,hard surface floor throughout. Crisp linens... I will stay there again with my travel for work for sure.

Saved by a dental pik (barely).... So, the location is downtown, strike one, by the railroad, strike two, and attracts a sleazy crowd, strike three. It appears there are some long term roomers? Idk, just got the vibe that some people live here permanently.
The price wasn't THAT cheap and I regret my decision to save $60 by not staying at the previous place. But, this was Thanksgiving evening, so beggers can't be choosy.

First off, this is a motel, with outside entrances, one flight of stairs, no elevator. I was on the second floor.
The building is old, rooms are old, the bedding is simple and thin, doors and walls are thin as well.
But, there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, iron, and hair dryer in my room. And while the bath amenities were generic, there was this awesome thing I have never seen before: A toothbrush already infused with mint toothpaste and a dental pik all wrapped up in a plastic pack. It was so cute, I had to take a picture.
The neighbors seemed indecisive at 12am and someone kept knocking to be let in, like every 10 minutes. The man across the way, about 30 yards away (as I wanted my shoe to fly),was outside his room smoking pot with a slightly unsettling look on his face. I went inside quickly.
Directly below my room on the railroad side, are parking spaces. Someone got up around 5am and started their diesel truck. It literally made my room vibrate. I was gonna get up early anyways. I didn't use the shower, just packed up my things and left as quickly as I arrived. I really wanted to knock on my neighbors door on the way out, but didn't want a death wish. Won't stay here again...

This is a very nice Rodeway Inn. The staff are excellent, kind, and very helpful. Our room was clean and in very good condition. The bed was quite firm and the pillows were rather thick. The neighborhood seemed safe and exterior lighting was excellent. Once we realized that the hot and cold settings on the bathroom faucet were reversed (in room 215), we found hot water availability to be more than adequate.

Front office personnel was nice enough. Room seemed to be decently clean. Absolutely nowhere to put soap or anything in shower.
The worn out spring mattress felt like laying on a box spring!
The โ€œneighborโ€ above our room played music and stomped around the entire night, to the point other guest were leaving the hotel!!!!!!
This has been the worst hotel experience I have had, I wish there were less stars to rate this place!!!!!! Never Again!!!!!
