The best part about Spindleshanks Restaurant is the ambiance! The log cabin building along with the expansive, beautiful porch overlooking the golf course truly fits in with Lake Tahoe! The food was good and so was the service. The porch is also dog friendly.

The spindle shank pork dish was cold, with frozen meat inside. It seemed to be a premade dish that was just reheated. After eating the meat at the restaurant, I experienced diarrhea almost immediately. The restaurant offered no explanation.

The most tender filet I have ever had!
I appreciate the chef ads minimal salt so I could add it to my liking. Everything from the veg to the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere is cozy and they have live music sometimes. I also appreciate the high quality speakers and the volume not being too loud. The service was great. Amazing considering I went on Tuesday which is happy hour all night at the bar side!
So happy I found this amazing establishment!

The dinner was absolutely delicious. The butternut squash raviolis were out of this world and the trout was fantastic. Even the kids chicken tenders were phenomenal. Maddy our server was delightful!

I Hit King's Beach with my Cousin. While there, We saw a beautiful spot by a golf course that was a restaurant/bar. I had a couple glasses of French Red Wine, recommended by Bartender Ovi, who had excellent customer service and should be running a spot of his own. He definitely made my Cuz and I feel welcomed.

I ordered the Vegan Spinach Wrap. It had;hummus, cous cous, spinach and arugula, avocado, and onion and tomato on Lavash Bread. It was honestly one of the best wraps I've ever had, I am not just saying this. Overall great experience. There's a special Lady out there that I love and I am waiting for God to bring back to me, I really would love to take her. 🙂 I recommend this place to all who visit the North Shore of Lake Tahoe! Great food in terms of taste, but not the experience. Was placed at a seat with direct sun burn and waited for 30+min before our food arrived. We arrived at 9:13AM in the morning(Google says it opens at 9). Was told that we need to wait for 10 min to get in. There were couple of tables empty I am assuming that they are short of staff in the morning. We ordered in 2min but food took 30min to arrive.

We were a party of two so we were placed at a table by the side where the sun directly shine on us. Though it was in the morning the UV index was above 4 already. We asked if we could turn the umbrella over but umbrella was not helpful as the sun was pointing from the side. Finally we asked to switch to another table with shades as it was not occupied for half an hour anyways.
We ordered taco and omelette. Taste was good. But the experience cannot allow me to give more than 1 star. I wish the staffs could be more mindful of the overall experience.
