Looks good on the surface but if you look carefully, there are many flaws. My AC didn’t work, the hot water took forever to start, my microwave was broken, and the drawers are dirty. The things used most often like towels, bed sheets, and the toilet were clean. But everything else was questionable. Also my room was right outside a restaurant so the smoke entered my room even though the air unit was broken. It is a solid 3 star hotel. It is livable, safe, but don’t expect much.

Great breakfast, friendly staff and the WiFi is decent. The gym equipment is decent for such a small gym. Lots to eat nearby. Free electronic safe in-room too.

The room was ok. The bed was comfortable. The walls had several cracks that weren't the best looking. The only real disappointment was the fact that what I thought was pictured as a hot tub was not. The water was very cold.

Well where do I start? First of all after we arrived around 8:30pm after a long day of driving, we got our room key, went up to our room and found out that it was not made up. So back down to the front desk. Then after setttling in, we discovered that the toilet did not work and so after lifting the lid, I realized that some of the components were not functioning properly so I did a little bit of my own plumbing work because it was late and we were already dressed for bed and didn't want to have to deal with going down stairs a second time. So essentially the toilet didn't work and we had to mess around with the plunger each time we wanted to use it. Then half of the lights did not work nor did the electrical outlets. The heater unit sounded like it was missing a belt or something but definitely making a lot of racket so we used it sparingly. We informed the front desk when we checked out and she didn't seem to care very much not offering an apology or a discount on the rate or anything. Just, "here ya go, here's your receipt". $234 for one night, a broken toilet, broken fixtures, and no apology or accountability. A sad excuse of a Hampton Inn!! Is there a better hotel in town we can try

I really wanted to make this 4 stars, but it went bad at the end. This was a 2 night reservation with friends. I am a diamond member that has hit a lot of Hilton properties, mostly Hamptons and Doubletrees. So I know my properties.

This place has a great appearance and great location and parking was ample. I was able to check in on the app and had plenty of rooms to choose from. There are 5 diamond member parking spots. There is 1 elevator for the 3 floors. Great trail nearby for morning jogs, very safe. Stores around the corner for most items, an AutoZone and jack in the box right outside the door. Overall, the property is a standard Hampton. Some construction but it was barely noticeable.

When checking in, it was rapid. This is normally good, but in this case was more of a "you interrupted my mopping" kind of thing. I barely caught the breakfast hours and was not asked how many keys. I was offered any snacks as a diamond member, so he did a good job of covering his bases, just was rushed. But it's no big deal as long as everything is done right, which is where the issue is. All the keys stopped working the next morning, including one that never left the room, so he made the keys for 12 hours instead of 48. That's what happens when you rush in customer service. So minus one star.

The breakfast was great! Fox News on, which is like watching a mouthpiece of lies, but to each their own. The photos below show how great the woman that handled the breakfast did. It was among the best breakfasts I've had at a Hampton - fully stocked, not busy, clean, and delicious. No line at 8am when I went down. I sing the praises of their breakfast. Recovery of a star here.

It goes downhill though. The shower has things falling apart, see photos. It's nice, but also not maintained fully. It starts to make you wonder. Minus a star there.

I found a red stain under the cabinets near where the trash is. Yea, it's near the trash and hard to see, but this could be ketchup or it could be blood. Kind of need to clean that up....and since it wasn't, clearly it wasn't checked. The rest of the room was clean and the heater worked, so there is quality, but the fact is It's a red liquid stain. I can't not take a star off.

The gym was ok. Not busy, has weights, cycle, treadmill, elliptical, medicine balls and mats. Not used pretty much at all. But the TV didn't work....so no recovery star. But honestly I don't use the TV so if you don't you will love it.

The final issue was kind of the worst. As we got back on Saturday around 11pm, we were watching TV when the signal dropped for the satellite. It never recovered, not even in the morning. My friend was hoping to get news on a NBA trade that had just went down and couldn't. I mentioned it to the front desk as I was leaving, and they noted Dish refused to send a technician until Monday (this was Sunday morning). I get that - the reason I have Spectrum and not Dish or ATT as they have incredible customer service. The issue is that I sat there discussing it with the agent, and she was sweet as I was pointing out that there is likely a wiring or device weather protection issue and they should inspect the work to ensure it is better following the repair, but she never offered any compensation. I get that this hotel is off a bypassed highway in a small town and operating on small margins, but literally any offer was what I was waiting for. I was going to refuse, but is what would have saved the star. As a former front desk agent myself, albeit 12 years ago, I know that offering is the best way to show understanding in a meaningful way. Either she wasn't trained to offer it or was not allowed to; both indicate a management issue. That's a lost star, and was nearly two until I was talked out of it.

So yea. Some good, but more bad. And this is a property that was 50k points a night when booked weeks out. Just not worth it. And feel free to respond property owner, but I'm saying a lot of things others have said. I'm not interested in compensation, I don't need it. I wanted a place to go with my friends.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. It took us 10 mins. at check in before we found a live person to check us in. The lobby and hall ways were very hot and at that time water was dripping from the open ceiling panels - later buckets were placed to catch the splash. Breakfast - scrambled eggs were not edible - Waffles were ok. Carpets are in need of a good cleaning. Toilet was either stained or in need of a toilet brush. The hotel is pet friendly and I could smell urine. The dog in the next room whined most of the time. Ice machine in second floor was missing - being repaired? The hotel did not reflect the price of $247.80 per night. Definitely needs to be updated, repaired. Location to other services is good. Would not stay here again unless major updates are completed. Great staff on all shifts . Location is fine IF you are in town for a reason but is in no way near anything you might consider ā€œtourist-yā€ though. The rooms are as nice as any nice motel, plus bonus points for the breakfast buffet. Most chains don’t offer this in my travels, especially hotels.

We stayed here two days and at first, the elevator bang when it stopped was alarming but by time we checked out, it was almost a reliable nudge that you were about to get out ( important because the trip to the third floor takes almost a full minute!)

Also huge bonus is 711, Denny’s (both 24/7) and Starbucks are literally across the street and might take longer to drive to than just walking. There is also a grocery store and Mexican ice cream and treat location next door. (La MichoacĆ”na Plus).

One negative is that it is very loud given the ac is open in the back to the outside. The good news is that this place is literally in the middle of nowhere so it’s quiet after 10-11. Another negative is just that the lobby is so warm it is almost sticky no matter the outside temp but luckily the room was pre -cooled.

Definitely worth the low price. I’ll stay here again next time I visit family .

The breakfast is the only reason I would stay here. The rooms have mold in the bathrooms, the juice machine is broken, and the jacuzzi doesn’t have warm water and jets don’t work.
