The service here is excellent and everyone was amazing and kind, but I had several issues during my stay that are just not acceptable for a brand new hotel.

First, the thermostat in my room did not control the wall unit. The temperature in the room hit 65 degrees overnight, and I was freezing. The hotel sent someone to check it, but he didn't know how to fix it, so I asked for blankets and wrapped up like a burrito for the first night. Maintenance looked at it the next day, but it wasn't functioning properly and I had to change rooms.

The second room was nice and warm, but without a remote for the television. The 'smart room' controls didn't work, either, so I couldn't use the TV at all.

On checkout, I discovered there was a $20/night charge for parking. Now I have no issue with paying for parking in a congested area or in a parking deck, but this hotel is in the middle of nowhere with nothing immediately surrounding it. I carpooled with a coworker for this trip, so I asked the desk to take it off, which they did. But it seems really scammy to charge for parking at this location.

Finally, there is a powerful odor in the building, which is likely residual from construction. It was especially strong in the elevators and on the second floor. Hopefully that will dissipate soon, but it seriously triggered my allergies and I needed to buy some antihistamines while I was there.

On a more positive note, the food at the restaurant was fantastic and the portions were generous. And again, the staff is all great! I hope they get the kinks worked out because it really is a nice hotel.

The hotel was just fine overall, but for a brand-new property, I expected better attention to detail. There were several small discrepancies in the room, and the shower wasn’t clean, which was disappointing. The biggest downside is the lack of an electric car charger, something that should be standard for a new hotel. Instead, I had to drive to the nearby Wyndham property to charge my vehicle. Honestly, I should’ve just booked there in the first place.

Just spent an amazing weekend at this place. Our family Xmas party was held here last night. The rooms were awesome except for needing taller toilets. The check-in people and service crew were top-notch. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is it.

Rooms were fine, but the service is terrible. I work a little later and stay at Hilton Garden Inn for my travels due to the restaurant on site that allows me to come back and enjoy a meal before turning in. To my surprise, the restaurant had closed early and I was unable to get service. After sitting down the waitress took her time getting over only to tell me that the kitchen was closed early tonight as the manager allows that when they aren’t busy. Not very helpful for those of us who work later. Then the staff started laughing at my situation. Very disrespectful. Of all the Hiltons I have stayed at, this is the only time I have ever experienced this level of dissatisfaction.

Me and my fiance have been here all this week and let me just say the service that the staff provides here is UNTOUCHABLE. Chris and Stephanie stopped by and provided quick great friendly professional service . My fiancé and I had a night of drinks . Brandon and the head chef were getting slammed by an event but still gave me and my fiance top notch quality service and a great night . Hilton garden inn Visalia you’ve outside done yourselves. We booked out 2 rooms for a wedding we went too, and it was a wonderful place! The rooms were spacious, quiet and well stocked/ maintained with everything we could need. The people were so extra kind especially the FRONT DESK REP NAMED Geraldine aka Gigi very helpful 🙂 and the views were outstanding on top of that. We will absolutely stay here again next time we are in the area!!

I agree with everyone that its a beautiful hotel and the service is great but for those looking to book, know that theres a lot of hidden fees. The parking was $15 and the breakfast was $20. These are typically included in any Hilton that Ive ever stayed at and I haved stayed at a bunch. When I asked the front desk staff why these arent mentioned, I was simply handed a card to speak with the manager... Safe to say that I wont be returning to this particular Hilton but will continue to utilize others.

Stayed here last August for business. Every front desk I've spoken to were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is fairly new. I was told it was only about 8 months since they opened when I stayed there.

They have their own parking lot. During check in, I was told it was free then upon checkout, I got charged. The front desk was able to take it off my bill so make sure you ask about this upon Check-in.

Convenience of location as it was next to fwy, there are gas stations and quick bite fastfood near here too. Anything else is about 15-20mins of driving.

My entire stay was pretty quiet, which I appreciated. The fitness center they gad was well maintained. The only thing 8 didn't like about this was the water dispenser was used by other people, so it was a bit disturbing during workout because the door wasn't quiet.

The room was clean, I asked for no daily housekeeping as I wasn't staying too long. The bathroom has a vanity mirror which was a plus when you need to put on make-up. By the closet, you have a full sized mirror, iron and board plus extra drawers.
