Room was clean and comfortable with updated furnishings and amenities. The proprietor was friendly and accommodating when I requested a particular room. Room had microwave and mini-fridge and a perfect work area (desk and comfy desk chair) along w another small table and chair for lounging. Great set up! Comfortable bed w extra pillows.

The young lady at check in was very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and quiet. Very close to the casino but not a lot of late night food options around.

Cam, the owner/manager of the Super8 in Upper Lake California was amazing during our stay. Unfortunately, our home burned down and we needed to stay at the hotel for 4 nights while we waited for our temporary home to be ready. Cam made sure all our needs were met. His demeanor and attitude was always generous and kind. No matter what time of day or night he made sure we were well taken care of. The room was very clean and comfortable. If in Upper Lake I highly recommend this hotel.

I saw this place has 4.0 rating, but I have no idea why. The woman at the front desk was friendly at check-in. An hour into the stay, the tissue box was empty after three pulls. I went to front desk, carrying my key in my hand and visible. The man at the desk was obviously not happy at having to come to the desk from behind closed door, insisted on verifying my room info (key right in my hand). Then, instead of giving me a box of tissues, he said one would be delivered. In about 30 minutes, the nice lady at the desk, wrapped up in a coat (it was cold and rainy) offered me a box of tissue.||||The carpet by the bank sink and toilet door had red stains that could have been taco sauce … or blood. The entry door was grimy, and needs a major eraser applied to it.||||The bed was good. The bathroom seemed clean (aside from the carpet stains). $20 for pet fee, the room was total $162. Rather expensive for this cheap Super 8 run by a man that doesn’t have any appreciation for his paying guests.||||And how much longer are hotels allowed to advertise Free Breakfast when there is nothing at all offered, except the crappy inroom coffee.

The room was clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and the location is perfect for where I needed to be. I stayed there with my grandchildren, who thought the room was beautiful. For extra enjoyment, there were a number of occupied bird's nests, which fascinated my grandchildren.

This motel is okay for a sleep over. Our room was clean but there was not a functioning shower and the bathtub didn’t hold water. There was a large repaired hole on the inner side of the tub. No breakfast or pool.

I found dirty, used items in the room: in the shower, on the closet shelf, and a very long hair on the mirror frame. There was mold on the shower curtain bar. I was there for my father's terminal illness and the site was convenient or I would have moved to another location.

The hotel is your average 2 star, average room, nice location though. Very expensive for the room and hotel, but that's covid for you.||||The listing on Expedia and also on the Super 8 website states that breakfast is included, which was a major factor in deciding the hotel. But, at the time of checkin, it was mentioned that no breakfast is being served due to Covid-19. I understand that, but several hotels I have stayed, give you a packed breakfast, like a fruit, muffin, etc. Simply saying, "sorry, the website is wrong", makes me feel that I was cheated when I made the decision to book the hotel. Either fix the website, or offer some sort of to go breakfast if it's listed on your website. I paid extra compared to other hotels in the area to reserve this hotel.
