I had visited here some time ago and liked it so returned with my fiancé this time. We stayed in the Casablanca and took advantage of a great winter rate. We were the only guests but our hosts were very attentive but never intrusive. They also have lovely black cat who is the morning greeter. Breakfast was lovely. I would love to return and try a different caboose.Casablanca has a working piano and a great big jacuzzi.

Our recent stay at Featherbed Railroad Company Bed & Breakfast Resort through Harvest Host was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the property’s charm and the panoramic views of Clear Lake set the stage for a perfect getaway. The owner, Ali, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home with her passion for guest satisfaction.

We pre-ordered a wine and cheese platter, which was beautifully prepared with a thoughtful assortment of cheeses, crackers, and some delightful homemade chocolates, complemented by a fine bottle of red wine. This was a perfect start to our evening by the lake.

The accommodations provided were superb, with our RV parked to offer stunning views of the lake. Despite the rain later in the evening, we had a comfortable and peaceful night's sleep.

The next morning, breakfast was a treat. Freshly made coffee and tea were the perfect accompaniments to homemade apple fritters, a delicious scramble of eggs, potatoes, and sausage, and an English muffin. Ali and Mykalah, who served us, were both friendly and generous, making our morning even more pleasant.

I highly recommend Featherbed Railroad Company Bed & Breakfast Resort for an idyllic escape to nature’s beauty, accompanied by exceptional hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

If you have any enthusiasm for the railroad, this is your place for lodging. Perfectly charming arrangement of cabooses, each uniquely decorated, and very comfortable and quiet on the shore of Clear Lake. Come for the night and stay for breakfast. The presentation of breakfast was a thing of beauty, delicious, and satisfying.

Our stay was so beautiful, they had our room setup and looking so great and they went the extra mile to throw rose pedals all over the floor and bed to make it look even more amazing to help me surprise my wife. We really enjoyed our stay and suggest everyone to try the featherbed railroad! I say try gatsby/ La loose! I loved that caboose. Everyone at the office were also very sweet and welcoming 🙏

We stayed in the Orient Express caboose, and it was charming. Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed -- "no notes." Loved having a hot tub right in the room. Obviously not a lot of extra floor space inside if you need that, but there's a nice deck facing the lake, and it's all about the outdoors there! We had the place to ourselves mid-week, but the owners went out of their way to make us welcome, and put on a great breakfast. Highly recommended!

I've stayed at feather bed twice now! Beds are amazing!! That's one thing I require... Sheets are perfect bed is perfect. Mykaliah is also very amazing she's very knowledgeable. Every question I had she had the answer. Highly recommend this place. Perfect for a couples night. Kids not so much. I'll most definitely be back!!

By far the best place! We keep coming back for the hosts - amazing, as well as fun themed caboose rooms. Clean and well maintained, lake view for a couple cabins, but quiet enough to enjoy unplugging for the weekend.

What a magical experience! We are so glad to have listened to our daughter, who is a repeat guest. Charming is the best description from the themed cabooses to the dining room, to the delicious breakfast, and the sweet owners & staff! The pool was clean and refreshing. So much to see on local drives or just sit and relax! La Loose Caboose was great! Hot tub in the middle of the caboose & a mirrored ceiling! Happy Birthday to ME!
We will go back for sure!
