We stayed here for the first time, went out for fishing. it was such a nice little place. Was able to fish right off the dock only steps away from my room. Pretty quiet, area is perfect. We really didn’t need any service while we were there, but any staff I came in contact with was very friendly. Definitely look forward to coming back!

Positive: This is an amazing gem of a hotel. The room with a water view was huge! Patio on the lake, a bbq, picnic table and lounge chairs available to enjoy on the giant lawn. Grounds were immaculate and the staff was friendly & helpful. Negative: Beds are a little too firm for my liking. Not terrible just firmer than I care for. The rooms need USB ports like most modern hotels. Shower is tiled and a little slippery. Not bad.

This hotel was great and we had a room with a lake view and beautiful sunrise. Not sure if the rates change with the season but for a winter lake stay it was very reasonably priced for what you got in a lake view room. I didn't like the 25 bucks extra to use the kitchenette, I feel like for that price either include it or don't but maybe there's a good reason. I didn't even end up cooking. Minor less significant issues, the direct TV was doing what direct tv does and was in and out in and out. The heater was either off or on which was a little uncomfortable while trying to sleep. But as a whole the staff was great the location was great and i would definitely go back. Waking up to that sunrise was amazing.

There is no place to plug in the coffee pot but on the floor. Cord, way too short.
25 dollar charge for any dirt on towels. The pool was closed and covered in yuck water and leaves. Close to food and shopping.
The girl at check-in was cool. And the cat in the office was cute at check out.

Always a pleasure to stay at Skylark Shores. Rooms are always clean; staff is friendly and helpful. Lovely views from the property. Fast check in. Everything was fine.

Beautiful location right on the lake. Room was older, but clean and comfortable. My in-laws had a great room overlooking the lake, very beautiful! The pool area was small but clean so some of my family members took advantage of it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing lake side view from my room! The staff was very friendly and helpful with checking in. This place has a ton of activities, such as horseshoes, a pool, volleyball, and ping-pong. Very quiet at night. There was shampoo, but no conditioner, so make sure to bring some if you need it. The bed was firm, not very comfortable, but eventually I got to sleep. I had to pin the curtain closed so people couldn't see into my room since it had a large gap.
