What a lovely place! We went as a couple with our little chihuahua mix. And it was lovely.

As we walked in a gentleman was leaving and said 'bye son' and the person behind the counter said 'bye dad.'

And that set the whole scene for me. A place where family and community matter.

We ordered nice breakfasts for ourselves and a pup cup for the pup.

The pup cup was over the top, whipped cream (of course), and also dog biscuits, and even some bacon! Our dog loved it.

The breakfasts were tasty. The hashed browns were crispy, the bacon tasty, and the eggs done the way that I ordered them.

It is not a gourmet experience, but it is a sold good breakfast in a lovely location where you can have your dog!

I pulled my motorcycle right up to the outside dining area and had a decent breakfast.
The Howling dog cafe is dog friendly with water bowls available.
It was early morning and not that busy so my Dog Pile breakfast was served in a timely manner. The sausage tasted funny to me so I didn't eat that, but maybe it was just a different kind that I wasn't used to. The gravy was delicious!
The upbeat music playing was nice and so were the girls behind the counter.
All in all, a decent breakfast experience. I'll be going back.

I had the hot pastrami sandwich with chili and it came out tasty and fast. The raspberry hibiscus iced tea was a bit watered down but refreshing nonetheless. The staff was friendly and efficient and the place was very clean.

Our group of 9 (with three small children and two dogs) stopped here for lunch while on a visit to LakePort. We all ordered different things from burgers to French dip to hot dogs. Everyone was so pleased with their meal and it arrived in a very timely manner with the friendliest service! We hope to stop in again while we’re in town!!
