Don't miss the friendly service at Whistle Stope Cafe. Had small cheese burger. Fried Okra was delightful. Sweet potato fries are not to be missed. Corn Dog was lightly breaded and best I've had. Donna was so friendly!

Service was good. The food not so much. Fried Green tomatoes were extremely greasy. Fried chicken livers were very bitter and greasy

It wasn't the cook it was the quality of the food... The fried green tomatoes would decent if the oil hadn't it tasted so bad. And the chicken I couldn't even eat.. it was like rubbery boneless frozen breast. Was not fresh chicken... Not to cook the quality of the food..

The first time I tried Fried Green Tomatoes was awesome flavor. Place is so clean and The owner was working very hard to please everyone eating in dining room. I give the fresh food and servers a 5 stars. Thanks for staying open and making awesome changes.

Place was empty when i arrived. But it was an odd hour. Friendly, clean, fast.
Very nice, lots of tv's.
One comment...REPLACE THOSE WORE OUT AMERICAN FLAGS!!!
Veteran and patriot here. I always try to buy local too. I should buy two new flags and replace those myself. Just because I love this land. Veterans... give this place a stop on your way through Centre.

Our first visit and every detail was perfect! The menu has so many choices. The Food was delicious. We had meatloaf. I ordered it because I saw someone's when it was delivered. The meatloaf was perfect. The vegetables were excellent. I am so impressed by the food. The Coconut Cream pie was... I'm trying to come up with a word to describe it that will explain it is much better than wonderful, delicious and perfect.

The cafe is charming. A relaxed, feels like home, comfortable feel. The service was very good. The two people we talked with, one was the owner, were warm, friendly and genuinely seemed happy to see us. The cafe clean and the bathroom was, as well. Nice music was playing and it wasn't too loud.

I am known for being hard to please. Before college I worked in a restaurant and a pretty good idea what makes for a Five Star experience. We do not live in Cherokee County; however, we will make a special trip to Centre for a superb meal often.

So I've ordered doordash before and had great food but today was terrible unfortunately. I rated before trying the food, the fried okra is hard as a rock, the chicken is hard as a rock, whole egg in the chicken gravy, I have sensitivity to whole eggs?‍♀️

The meat loaf was great, the northern beans were barely warm, and the creamed corn was cold. The mexican cornbread was very dry and crumbly. Overall, it's not what I was expecting
