We go to BML at least 1 weekend a month and have always had an amazing time! we stay in the park models, which are older style however very roomy, AC works great and feels like our home away from home! However, they recently got new owners who have made some minor changes, NOT an issue with me BUT some people who dont like the changes, i have noticed have been very rude to the front office staff which is unacceptable. The staff is very sweet, very professional and caring for all their guests! The staff makes us feel like family, the location is perfect for families or someone who wants to relax in a personal paradise. I highly recommend to all!

We have been coming to black meadow landing for 15 years. When George and Lori fields owned the rv park we were always treated with the upmost respect as the winter family guest. Now the new management treats and talks to us as we are their under dogs. No respect to us. We are no longer guest, but a burden and they are the wardens . No more our winter home, but we feel like they are staking us . Not the company they said they were.

I've been coming here since the early 70s.
There's changes for sure. But this trip is even better.
We always book the kitchenette.
Room 11 really impressed my wife as well as me.

This is the absolute worst place we have ever been in 8 years of full time rv life. When we arrived we had a terrible time finding our site as sites had one number and map another. First site was totally to small as rv on each side were encroaching on our space. Finally after waiting long someone showed up to address the issue. After being referred to the 4th site it was barely acceptable even though rv size was requested when reservation was made. The 50 Amp hookup was a cord coming out of the gravel, no power pedestal. It was never told to us that Black Meadow Landing is 25 miles down a very rough, winding road on which you could only travel 25 to 35 mph. We left the second day and they would not work with us on our $300 deposit.

Beware the boat launch ramp, it runs out of concrete and drops off suddenly about 10-15 after the water line. There is no signage to indicate this and lucky we noticed it before damaging our boat and trailer as we have a Vdrive and it’s very low profile for launching and recovery. We are actually considering driving an hour away to recover our boat now that we’ve launched it for fear of what that experience will be like on the ramp here.

The boat docks are being repaired but are bare wood everywhere and very unforgiving.

The road here is being repaved, has to be driven very slowly and turns into one lane as you come north from Parker.

We are staying in the Burro Inn Rm 14. It’s clean seems free of pests and the staff has been very accommodating. Furniture is very dated and the beds are lumpy, saggy and uncomfortable. The only pillows have shams on them instead of cases which weirds me out. The kitchen is functional but we brought all our own dishes and cookware as we are used to staying at Havasu Springs. There’s no TV but there is strong internet available. The rear door has a window made of plexiglass that is broken and taped but has holes in it. The AC had a rattle that I fixed by sticking cookware into the vents. It works well. There are few hooks to hang wet towels or bathing suits.

All the older negative reviews about motel rooms are probably defunct now. The motel building is closed for renovation and the nightly rentals currently consist of only the quite nice row of attached kitchen cabins. No complaints it was quite nice.

Been staying there for years ..This year 2025 they double their rates with new Owner..What a joke..the docks you can't even use due to nails sticking out..Long dust pot holed road to get to..Just crazy..Their is literally no one that stays here due to conditions..We usually stay up top and last summer only the workers were staying up there..I hope to hear back from the New Management with some ridiculous reason of doubling their pricing..You can stay at Havasau Springs for allmost same price and it's 5 star..They will go BANKRUPT with new Management..

The PIZZA was superb highly recommend restaurant.im here from palm springs to work..
Would probably not come if restaurant wasn't here.
Just gotta open6-7 days a week
