5 STARS all the way…I rarely give 5 star reviews because I always feel we all have room for improvement - however - I can’t think of a single thing that would have made our stay better. From the moment you pull up to this Luxury historic Sonoran style house, originating from 1875 - you feel like the most important guest. Greeted by Dora, the elegant Inn Keeper, you are enveloped in her warmth and welcoming demeanor while receiving a very informative tour of your lodgings. |The home is an elegant mix of old a new with gorgeous decor and an incredible oasis of relaxation waiting for you in the back garden. |One would typically not look forward to “hanging out” in your hotel - however, we thoroughly enjoyed our late afternoon relaxing in the garden, listening to the water fountain and sipping on a refreshment provided for “happy hour”, which they should rename to “super relaxing hour”. I could have been happy to remain there all afternoon. |If it’s not outdoor weather - they have several comfortable areas in the home to relax in. There are many options for reading materials and an array of amazing books about Tucson and area. |The bedrooms are well appointed with comfortable beds dressed in luxury linens. The bathroom had every attention to detail from the cute little sticker on the TP to luxurious bath products and gorgeous monogrammed towels. |If you are an early riser like us - the rooms are equipped with “steeped” coffee and tea and a mini fridge with water.|The breakfast was an incredibly delicious gourmet meal - so generous in portion size I could not finish the last bites. Certainly one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, I particularly enjoyed the fresh baked warm blueberry scones. |We have travelled a fair amount and I can be fairly particular - The Armory Park Inn is definitely going to be a lifelong memory of an incredible stay, and absolutely we will be returning for another amazing experience. The owner Amy has absolutely provided everything you need and want in a luxury boutique Inn and the staff, particularly Dora, is the other half of this wildly successful recipe for a 10/10 stay.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Charles O Brown room for 3 nights. Our stay was lovely! We are cleanliness fanatics. The Inn is immaculate. The bed was comfy and the breakfasts delicious, especially Sheila's homemade scones. We were unnecessarily concerned about staying in a city neighborhood with street parking.
The area is totally safe and yet close to restaurants and the theater. The owner, manager and innkeeper are wonderful people who are dedicated to excellence. We enjoyed our experience and would not stay anywhere else in Tucson.

The Armory Park Inn is a unique and special place.
The property itself is absolutely lovely; it is well-designed and beautifully furnished. It is very clean, with rooms refreshed each day on request. Little necessities and goodies are tucked away for your use, to make your stay comfortable. The inn is located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to Tucson's vibrant downtown. Communication with staff is easy and prompt.
We have found in our travels that it is People who make a place memorable - Dora and Sheila are those people at the Armory Park Inn. They work to make your stay memorable. From delicious, hot and fresh breakfasts to happy hour with wine and nibbles, the kindness and hospitality of these women is why we will return. We were made to feel at home, and like old friends visiting. Both were able to assist with recommendations for dining, shopping and hiking (which is fabulous in the area!).
We met another couple in town on our last evening in Tucson who were staying at a chain hotel. We mentioned that Dora and Sheila had prepared breakfast baskets for us to take since our flight out was going to be very early morning. Almost in disbelief, the other couple asked, "Where are you staying?". We said, "The Armory Park Inn. We highly recommend it!".

We stayed two nights and were so pleased with the beautiful accommodations and excellent service at this Inn. The historic building has been lovingly transformed into an oasis of beauty and tranquility. Every detail has been carefully curated. The upstairs king bedroom was not large but was furnished with beautiful thoughtful things (especially the super comfy bed) and the private bathroom felt luxurious and spacious. The towels and bedding are high end and a real treat. Dora was a dear to cater to our food preferences and brought us the freshest lovingly made food. We’ve had a challenging health care ride for over a year and she was very kind is asking exactly what we preferred and needed. In summary, we so appreciated having such a wonderful place and such caring innkeepers. The Inn is a real gem and we look forward to a visit again soon!

Even as a very nitpicky traveler who can find fault with almost anything, I am happy to write that every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations.||I'll start with responsiveness. When I called to make a reservation, I was routed to voicemail. But the owner, Amy, immediately picked up and handled my booking efficiently and pleasantly. She provided her personal cell as I was arriving after hours and would need to access the property and room via a keypad. I had doubts about this, but it worked perfectly. A brief letter in my room oriented me to the Inn.||Attention to detail. Amy also left a small carafe (glass) of wine in my fridge, as I was arriving after the nightly happy hour. There were also two very good chocolates in the room. My room included items to anticipate almost any need: an electric kettle, tea, coffee, cream, honey, sugar, etc., a wine opener, a carafe of water (which also - helpfully - had a tag informing that it is sanitized between guests) a vanity kit, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mini sewing kit, yoga mat, clothes steamer and mini-iron, hair dryer, and a multitude of outlets. There is also a water filter in the dining area to refill bottles.||Fitness center: The same attention to detail carried though in the fitness center. It is equipped with a peloton bike (and a variety of peloton shoes/lysol spray), a peloton treadmill, a large TV, weights, and several pilates mats along with clean yoga towels to cover them, plenty of clorox wipes, packaged ear buds, and a tablet stand.||Food. I've never liked scones, but the house made almond scones, served with fruit, yogurt and a sprinkle of granola, were heavenly. I'm now a scone fan, having realized I've never had a proper one before. This course was followed by a take on chile rellenos (a bit like a Mexican crustless quiche prepared in a ramekin) with a small green salad and fresh citrus fruit. This was also excellent.||Environment. The Inn is in a beautiful, historic but well renovated, building just south of downtown Tucson and in walking distance to the U of A. The area was very quiet and peaceful. ||Comfort. My room had a quality mattress, pillows and linens, all of which were very comfortable. The room was controlled with a split unit that kept the temperature consistent and comfortable without any noise.||Decor/character. As shown in the photos, the Inn is beautifully decorated in keeping with the historic building and area of town. My room had soaring ceilings constructed of beams and ocotillo - a look I really love - with a bit of the building's old knob and tube wiring still attached, which added to the charm. ||Cleanliness. The Inn was extremely clean. Most hotels, even those that initially seem clean, have filthy baseboards, light switches, corners, grout, caulking, lampshades and light fixtures, along with hair laying around bathrooms and nasty walls. Not here, all of these commonly overlooked items were spotless. Seeing that the Inn was properly cleaned immediately set me at ease upon arrival in my room.

My husband and I stayed two nights last month as a getaway during a difficult time with an ill relative in the hospital.
We found the Inn in a quiet neighborhood very close to downtown Tucson. The place was immaculate and the room very nice with nice amenities.
Happy hour was nice enjoyed either on the back patio or inside. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety.
Amy the owner was extremely friendly and so were her staff. We hope to get back there again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at The Armory Inn. Everything was amazing, from the initial greeting and welcome by Amy to our checkout. Breakfasts were delicious and generous, happy hour was fun, room was extremely comfortable and the Inn is beautiful. We would come again and highly recommend The Armory Inn. A very special place to stay. Thank you Amy and staff for all the extra touches you made to ensure a perfect stay.

Wonderful B&B right near downtown. Gorgeous patio; light-filled room with blackout shades; fabulous ceilings and décor. Marta was a lifesaver and helped us with a late check-in on New Year's Eve. We loved the breakfast, the books, and the amenities. Thank you for a great stay!
