First time visiting this coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the great coffee. I ordered a simple latte w. Hazelnut. Soo good, not overly sweet. I highly recommend The desert tortoise!! The service was absolutely awesome

We’ve been a handful of times when in the area and love it. Service is always kind and efficient, but don’t make you feel rushed. The cold brew is delicious and prices fair. Great stop with a few tables out front. This is drive thru and walk up only.

Local coffee shops are absolutely my favorite thing. I discovered this place while taking a detour and have been a frequent flyer ever since. I love the fun menus they put out and the investment into the community with various programs including crafting events that I want to try so bad but haven't been able to work into my schedule yet. The location is so convenient off the freeway and everyone who works there is friendly and helpful (especially when I can't decide from all the good choices).

So glad we are able to support a local business who really cares about the community! Jackrabbit Java does not disappoint. I have been going about once a week now. At first I just got coffee drinks, then I started buying their bags of coffee beans, and the last couple times I've bought their fresh baked goods. I love how they support local bakers by selling their baked goods. My sons were on leave (they are in the USMC) they like their Dutch Bros. Well, I swung them by Jackrabbit Java and they loved their drinks! They even asked when we were going back there.
Their staff is very friendly and attentive. They all seem like one big family. Love it! Highly recommend.

If you're tired of Starbucks being your regular go-to & Dutch Bros is just too...well not "coffee-y enough", you just drive yourself right on over to Jackrabbit Java. I tell literally EVERYONE about this place! My sister comes out from Scottsdale to visit and always stops by here too! They have the best tasting espresso and when I say it kicks, it KICKS! You don't need to add an extra shot and definitely get your money's worth! Lol. Their Cookie Butter latte is my favorite (iced, with oatmilk!) And their Caramel Macciato is what Starbucks wants to be when they grow up. Add to the amazing coffee, you've got the locally sourced baked goods, kind and friendly baristas who know how to offer special selections, excellent prices & fun weekly drink creation menus, you'll be wishing this coffee shop was on every corner instead of the other place 😉 Lauren & Tyler know how to serve great coffee & are a true staple in the community!

This was a great discovery. I love flavored coffee drinks. But it seems the bigger coffee places put so much sugar and syrups you can't taste the coffee. I tried the Desert Tortoise and it actually tasted like coffee with white chocolate, caramel and butter pecan flavor. And the employees are friendly and helpful.
