I recently stayed at the Coldwater Inn as part of a solo getaway. The hotel was just what I needed. It is very clean and quiet, and everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were all very nice!. I highly recommend this hotel for individuals, or for families. The Alabama Music Hall of fame is right across the road and is interesting to visit. I also went to George’s Steak Pit for dinner, which is in Sheffield and an easy drive. ( very good upscale steakhouse).

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful which is not what I have generally experienced when checking into a motel late at night. The rooms were clean. The ac didn’t blow very cold. We had it turned down as low as we could get it and were still sweating. The refrigerator made a very loud obnoxious noise. The bed was AWFUL! Would have slept better on the floor. I picked this motel because the reviews stating the beds were so comfortable. I found that to be completely false. Water pressure in the shower was good and water was hot. Breakfast isn’t anything special. It’s exactly what you expect from a free breakfast in a motel. Overall, it’s an ok place to stay.

Located just off the highway and across the street from Alabama Music Hall of Fame, this is a wonderful, beautiful hotel that fits any budget. Why stay at a chain hotel when you can have a more personal, unique experience for the same price? I love the interior, the updated rooms, and it just has an all-around great atmosphere. It is close enough to town, you won't have to go far (at most 15 min) for dinner, shopping, etc. The staff is wonderful, always ensuring guest satisfaction, as well as knowledgeable about local eateries (always trust the locals), shopping, and things to do. It is the perfect experience while visiting this small town and will make your stay that much more enjoyable.

We stayed for a theater competition, and everything was fantastic. Every employee that we interacted with was helpful and kind, from the front desk to the housekeeping and the lady serving breakfast. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Also, the breakfast was more than I was expecting. And even though there were three schools worth of students and chaperones there on Saturday morning, they were able to more than accommodate. I would definitely recommend them!

Wonderful southern hospitality. The front desk staff was amazing from check in and check out. They had hot coco bar with lol kinds of toppings, cookies, hot coffee at all times free to their guests . They were very helpful in answering our questions, taking pictures of our families in front of the gorgeous Christmas decorations throughout the lobby and grand staircase. Our room. The bed was very comfortable, room very clean. There was a small fridge in our room and coffee/tea Kurig. Breakfast was very nice and filling, with biscuits, gravy, sausage, make your own waffle, juices, cereal, yogurt. Was very wonderful experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. It is perfect location to get to anything in the area

Poor maintenance!
No hot water for the full hotel on my one night stay.
The heater-A/C unit was louder than average
The refrigerator made a louder than average noise on and off
The drapes were coming off their hooks and could not be closed all the way- 1st floor pool- perfect view onto my room. #107
Faucets do not shut off completely and one leaks at the handle
Lightbulbs out.
Inadequate breakfast service. Cold coffee, empty food trays.

The desk professionals were very nice.
