Stellar experience! We had the amazing fortune to be served by the chef, who was lovely and generous (served us a sneak peek of the Valentine’s Day menu!).
The food is incredible. Best Brussels I’ve had, huge salad and perfectly cooked salmon. My husband had the Responsible Burger (which is 30% mushrooms, 70% beef) and genuinely couldn’t taste the mushrooms.
We couldn’t recommend CharroVida more highly!

Just wanna give Charro Vida and Chef Matthew Love a shout out and credit for being amazing. He heard i had a little less than stellar experience so he invited me back. Such a good and cool dude and the food was more than amazing. The bartender was really knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was Hamptonsesque minus the snooty side. Music was at the perfect volume and I felt like I was in a resort somewhere just outside of Tucson. I would go eat there if I was you, but I'm not, so you have to. It will probably be a weekly thing for me from now on.

We met our friends for dinner. We came due to the interesting menu and it did not disappoint. We all had their non alcoholic drinks and all were great. We shared the nachos and really liked them esp for being vegetarian. I tried a bowl and two other people on our table tried the burrito , and the other tried the Chilli Relono. Apart from my bowl - all portion sizes were huge and everyone has left overs. All the food was great and I will come back as I want to try their tamales again. Service was great. Our server told us he was new but he did great.

First time visiting Charro Vida. When we walked in we weren’t greeted by anyone. There was another lady standing there who mentioned she had been waiting for a while to be acknowledged. Someone finally came to the front and took her to be seated. We were immediately seated next. Our server Veronica was very nice but I could tell she was not quite there. Maybe bc they’re understaffed? Idk… we asked her for a sangria carafe for 2, our server Veronica brought us 1 sangria and told us that the ** for our martini wasn’t available.. so my husband and I looked at each other and said we never ordered a martini. We told her about 3 times we wanted a Carafe for 2 of the sangria. She finally got it. We wanted to place our order immediately and she told us we’d have to wait bc she had another table. So ok we did. A few mins later she came back and set our drink down. I asked her for the WiFi password. She said she didn’t know it and that she would come back. 10 mins went by and nothing. I had to ask another waitress.

The food was decent, we ordered two bowls. My husband added chicken and I added shrimp. Not bad…

We’d like to come back again, just hoping that next time around there’s more help around bc I could tell the waitress was carrying a huge load on her back and it just makes the restaurant look bad.

Other than that, food was good and atmosphere was enjoyable.

I am blown away. Cici was a wonderful server & helped me book a reservation for the Valentine’s Day dinner special. If you haven’t tried CharroVida yet, what are you waiting for? The food is amazing, fresh, creative with local flare. Chef Matt Love is a genius!
I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Continue to come to CharroVida. Food is very fresh and full of flavor. I was impressed with the salmon and old fashioned. They introduced a new menu about a month ago…which I think was a good move! They need to work on the timing of food coming to the table as we ended up with the salad and entrees before the appetizer was done. Would recommend!

Went there with 7 others because their other restaurant (El Charro) was packed. Great food, and drinks. Highly recommended there Carne Asada with a side of Papas Tomatinas (potatoes fried in balsamic sauce)

So delicious! Everything we got was amazing. So fresh, and you can tell the food was made with love. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend anything with the habanero salsa, Brussel sprouts and the mint ice green tea.
