I don’t know where that 4.5 rating came from but this restaurant is definitely five star! The location is quaint, the service and atmosphere are friendly and inviting, and the food…the food is put your silverware down amazing! I can’t begin to explain the flavors that burst on your pallet on that first bite…

I live 90 minutes away and it’s worth every bit of the drive!

Exceptional service and ambience! Moscato’s had been recommended to us by several locals but we didn’t think much of it since it was in Camp Verde and we spend the majority of our time in Sedona.

We finally made it there and we were not disappointed!

The wine cellar is robust, the food rich and authentic, and the service is upscale but also somehow down to earth.

The costatella w/ polenta is perfection!

While passing through Camp Verde my husband and I randomly pulled into their parking lot following a whim. We were in hiking clothes, so upon entering I asked the host if we were dressed okay. It's a beautiful restaurant that leaves an impression. They were very gracious about our attire. It would be the best place to dress up for date night though:)
Our server was very knowledgeable and professional. We ordered their special calamari which also had fried scallops and shrimp. It was amazing and a very large portion. Too much for 2 people but perfect for 3 or 4.
After going over their extensive wine list we landed on a dry reisling. So perfect for our tastes. They brought out a beautiful standing cold bath for the bottle.
Our meals were amazing!! They home make the focaccia bread, pasta, and Italian sausage all in house.
It sounds silly but even the bathrooms are beautiful. Sometimes that feels like an after thought, but no details were missed here. Pics dont do it justice. We will be back.

Got into town at seven or so and by the time we were ready to eat, it was closer to eight, but not quite. The (cough) concierge told us that there were a number of places open on Main street, but this just wasn't true, and we were on foot, too tired, and it was too cold to spend a lot of time doing reconnaissance, but the town was shut down. A small Mexican restaurant winked down a side street. The only place that was open on Main was Moscato's, and as we peered through the front windows like peasants in a Russian novel, I was astonished at the high tone and decoration of the place. It appeared out of place in this self-consciously rustic town, the restaurant had stumbled in here on its way to Scottsdale or Palm Springs. And we looked like crusty prospectors. But the staff was incredibly welcoming, and at our table we were flanked by a large vacationing aristocratic family from Mexico City on the one side and a foursome from Sedona on the other, who had driven down specifically for dinner at Moscato's. And what a meal we had! Excellent service, and the Sicilian style Italian with the freshly made sausage, a real Caesar salad (anchovies and all), and amazing pasta... this place was outstanding. When looking at the menu I thought it would be ridiculous to pay these kind of prices, but when I'd finished, it seemed not only reasonable but a great deal for the quality meal we had. A true find.

Experience the best of Verde Valley at this hidden Italian gem! Located near exit #287 on HWY 17, this restaurant impresses with its mouth-watering dishes, extensive wine selection, and cozy ambiance. While beer enthusiasts may find the selection lacking. The new, larger location can accommodate more guests and still maintains its charm. Don't miss out on this culinary hotspot, and remember to reserve your table ahead of time! Just Bravo!
On our next visit, we will photograph the menu and food for social media. We recently tried their beet salad and gnocchi with Italian sausage, which was part of their specials. We highly recommend their house-made Italian sausage, which we always order whenever we dine there.

I do not give 5 stars lightly!! But this place is a 5 all the way...we are from NJ and have some awesome restaurants to compare it too..so that being said...our experience from the minute we walked in to this beautifully decorated establishment and greated by a very nice young man to our waiter who was very professional,friendly and attentive to our every need..he recommended dishes that were wonderful!! We had the chefs signature Salumiere charcuterie board to start...our entrees were shrimp scampi, chicken marsala, lingui with clams, and Arabians al gambaretto...absolutely delicious food..presentation of each dish was beautiful...drinks were strong...we were so full we could not eat any desert sorry to say...they also have a beautiful outside seating area...make reservations!!! please be aware there is a $20.00 change fee for any changes to your food...will highly recommend this resturant..
Dress is casual but neat or fancy if you like...

When you enter you will notice this is a fine dining restaurant. It's glamorous with sophistication. All the food is freshly made and you can tell by the way it tastes!! I've eaten here quite a bit and every time I enjoy my meal. They may be busier on the weekends so I'd recommend reservations if you can. The servers are wonderful and are always so helpful at picking wine and knowledge of the menu. They have a private wine room you could use for parties and it's beautiful! I'm looking forward to the warmth of sitting on the new patio! Can't wait for my next visit!
