We stayed for 4 nights while the hotel is transitioning to a new management company. The pool was closed, and breakfast was limited to bagels and coffee due to kitchen regulations. The walls are thin, so you can hear everything, but the bed was comfortable, rooms were clean, and the TV had a good selection of channels. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—every team member greeted us, and they always checked if we needed anything. Arlette, in particular, stood out. She went above and beyond, offering genuine care and support during a difficult time for our family. Without her kindness, our experience wouldn’t have been the same. Her warmth and personality truly made our stay memorable.

They checked me in early and it was very much appreciated as I had fallen earlier and hurt my shoulder. It was so nice to get a good night sleep there, nice bed, very clean room. I give it 5 stars.

Arlette was Amazing! She was very hospitable, genuinely caring! The cleaning personnel were friendly and did an amazing job! Walls alittle thin! Was a little bummed that the pool was not open and breakfast was very limited at this time. But Arlette explained that the hotel was in the middle of a transition and getting things up to code. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope that when we come back, Arlette and the ladies are still there, thank you for making such a difficult time for us as Comfortable as could be !

Our room was very clean! For the price I was so impressed with the whole stay! Elizabeth at the front desk was so kind and extremely helpful in making sure we had close rooms for our kids. The indoor pool was nice and warm, and fresh waffles for breakfast were fantastic.

- Pool only open when certain staff allows it to be open.
- Slow check-in process. Reserve with Best Western directly to avoid longer wait when you arrive. Only ONE computer & ONE front desk staff.
- Total price discrepancy between the online Best Western total & the hotel total, with added cents put on the Sure Stay hotel total.
- Fire Hazard with second floor exit door not working (01/04/2025).
- Large gaps at the bottom of the doors make hallway noise even louder.
- No Maintenance staff. No breakfast staff (front desk forced to do the job of 2-3 people).
- Bigger continental breakfast at other motels.
- Staff & Manager threatened to kick out this BW Diamond Member in retaliation to this review.

I recently stayed four nights at the Copper Hotel in Camp Verde, Arizona while I was visiting a friend. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. They give you a boatload of towels to start with which was unusual and the shower was phenomenal. Best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel and that says a lot so I would highly recommend this place. it was also very clean and had good prices!!

The room and bathroom were clean. A/C worked great with no smell. Good water temperature and pressure.

The staff was very friendly.

I read some reviews that it wasn't kid friendly but I was traveling with my toddler and everyone was so nice to him.

I also read that it was noisy but we slept great. Didn't hear a thing with our noise machine.

My only issue is breakfast. There was NO WATER. There was coffee, some apple juice cartons and milk for cereal. When you first wake up, you need water. Caffeine and sugar can come later but water is a must. There were also NO PROTEIN, no eggs or anything. Just lots of carbs, which is basically just sugar. For the price, there should definitely be free water and scrambled eggs.

Incredibly noisy. The hallway was an echo chamber. There are big gaps at the bottom of the doors. We could clearly hear the people next door conversing in normal voices. The breakfast was a joke. Nothing fresh. No cereal. No bread (but there was a toaster). No eggs. No juice. No milk. No ….

Should be called the “Rust motel” not the Copper Hotel.
