My husband and I visited Phoenix for a wedding from FL and I made sure to book a horse riding trip while there. Western destinations seemed to have great reviews and photos online so booked it. We were not disappointed and was so beautiful and relaxing. Rusty was our tour guide and he was really awesome and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend even if you are true beginner at riding. Will do again if we are back in the area.

This is a must do in AZ if you enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of the west! We could not have thought of a better way to end our trip in AZ. Felt like I was right at home here. Bill did a phenomenal job as our guide. It felt like family to us throwing axes, riding horses, shooting guns, and drinking beer! The views were stunning, the conversations were meaningful and the horses were great. We would love to come back here with our kids and more family members. Thanks for such an amazing time Bill!

Amazing Anniversary Ride at Canyon Creek Ranch!

My husband and I had an unforgettable anniversary experience at Western Destinations Canyon Creek Ranch! They provided us with a private horseback riding, and it was absolutely perfect. Our wrangler, Rich, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the ride so much fun. He balanced engaging us with games, while also giving us time to enjoy the peaceful ride and connect with each other.

The little Western town at the ranch was a charming touch and truly made us feel like we had stepped back into the Wild West. It added so much authenticity and character to the entire experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our special day!

This was my fifth visit to Western Destinations, and the experience still doesn’t disappoint! I am an experienced rider myself but I have brought complete beginner riders with me too. It is an excellent way for everyone to see the desert and enjoy the Wild West. Rusty was a great guide and clearly loves what he does. Horses all know the score, I rode Shooter again, he’s a great horse if you get him.

My family and I had an amazing experience horseback riding, fresh cooked dinner and apple pie for dessert. After eating we had a blast at the shooting range, axe throwing and archery. The Wranglers were so accommodating with getting our horses and riders situated. There was 14 of us! During the ride they explained about the area, the plants and trees and Indian artifacts. They were definitely a great part of our experience, a lot of fun and laughter! We all highly recommend this venue for all they have to offer! Definitely a must do….

This was my first time riding a horse, and Bill was super reassuring and helpful. He was so knowledgeable about the land/ artifacts as they relate to Native American history, and this was so enlightening and made our experience all the more memorable. My partner and I will definitely be visiting when we come back to Phoenix! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the ride was worth the cost as well.
