My husband and I originally booked this venue for our wedding back when it was just a dirt log, trusting that the artist renderings and future plans for the site would turn out to be as magical as they looked. As it turns out, it was even better than we could've hoped! The wedding chapel is gorgeous with the mountains in the background, and we loved that there were different indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from depending on the weather. The staff were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the process, and their vendors were all amazing to work with. We loved the reception hall and its circular halo lighting, and the bridal/groom suites were very comfortable and accommodating. Gorgeous venue that our guests raved about, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get married with some desert scenery in the background!

Love this new venue! We were probably one of the first groups in the fully complete chapter of construction and man this venue is super beautiful. You can tell they took their time to do it right and understand the in's and outs of putting on the perfect wedding day experience. As a photographer with over 300 weddings under my belt I can honestly say this is one of my favorite venues in Arizona. The staff is great, The bridal suite is perfect lighting and design wise, the spaces are intimate but photograph well, there are options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and the views are breathtaking. They already have great planning teams attached to guide your day (my couple used Riding Tandem). They simply have a great space and I can't wait to see what's to come for them, and honestly can't wait to be back. - Matthew Wheeler Photography @MatthewWheelerPhoto

We are over-the-moon excited that our kids picked this venue for their wedding in January 2025.
When Jon and Amanda first toured the construction site and saw the rendering of what the owner's vision was, they were sold.
It has turned out so beautifully! The venue has a separate chapel, out-door area, and reception building with a separated bride and groom rooms, all with stunning views of the Superstition Mountains!
We anticipate that their wedding day will be all that they have dreamed.

We found DVW&E in early 2022 when the venue was nothing more than a dirt lot and a dream. We fell head over heels for the digital mockups they had posted on their website, and we just knew it was going to be our spot. We had an interesting time with the booking process, as we originally were planning for April 2023, then had to move to Sept 2023 because of construction issues, and then again backed up a few weeks into October to be safe for further construction issues. You would think this would be a problem, and sure it was stressful! But Russell communicated all of the potential issues upfront and always made time to talk with me through all of the back up options and worst case scenario plans. Our "worst case" did happen - the venue was not finished by our wedding date. Again - you'd think this would be a problem, but Russell did everything in his power to still make it the best night of our lives. Truthfully we wanted to do most of the evening outside anyways, because of the stunning views we fell in love with. So we all put our heads together a week before the wedding to pull it off without the use of the event center, and it was still perfect!! I can only imagine that the venue will get even better with time, so I highly recommend booking with them! The staff are all so kind and work hard to make your wedding perfect - our day of coordinator at the venue even had to step in and run our rehearsal when my wedding planner's flight got canceled, and she was amazing throughout the weekend. We will forever be glad we chose and stuck with Desert View, as the evening was so beautiful and I knew we had the entire team behind us making everything come together despite the last minute challenges.

I could not recommend this venue more!! I got married this past month, and I had at least 20 of my guests say it was the best wedding they had ever been to. All of the vendors were absolutely incredible, the staff is super flexible and truly makes the whole process so seamless and as stress free as possible. I would pick Desert View again 7/7 days of the week!!!!

BRIDES TO BE PLEASE READ: Beautiful but DANGEROUS/PAINFUL EXPERIENCE as a guest. I will start off by saying the venue is gorgeous, as are the views. I can see why couples would fall in love with it. The place is new and clean and modern.

That being said, the reception hall is NOT designed well. I understand it’s a newer venue, but I believe when it was built, there were no considerations to sound/auditory travel. Put a large metal bowl over your head. Knock on it - you’ll notice the sound is extremely loud and reverberates heavily. Enough of that would give you a headache or worse! This is exactly what happens at the reception hall. With next to no music playing, just the sound of people talking echoed off the walls and made it EXTREMELY loud. People were having to shout at the table or type on their phones just to understand each other. The DJ struggled, too, and repeatedly apologized for how difficult it was to understand him (even though it was not him or his equipment’s fault). What’s worse is that I got notifications on my smart watch that the decibel of the space was so high that it was DANGEROUS and at least 30 minutes could cause HEARING LOSS. I had to put hearing protection in, but my husband who did not have any extra hearing protection, started to get a headache after about two hours. We had to leave during dinner. Several other guests were struggling, too, and left before us. This was all before any dancing. There was low (to no) music - it was this bad just from guests talking!

I am sure the bride & groom did not notice, as they spent a majority of their time around the property taking photos (as expected, duh). After the ceremony, it was photos outside for a while, and then they ate for ~40 minutes, and then back out for photos again. They and other couples who married here would not likely realize how bad it was for their guests while we waited in the reception hall.

I have been to many weddings and several indoor weddings yet have never encountered this issue before (so it’s not just because the reception was held indoors). It is a gorgeous venue; I sincerely hope the staff make some architectural changes to ensure a SAFE environment and experience for their guests. Until that point, I genuinely urge couples to avoid this place for the safety of your guests!
