Visited on Valentine's Day and the staff were phenomenal. They let us check in early and when we realized the plans I made for our evening would have us miss their dinner service, they were so kind to offer to put our order in and have it delivered to our room for when we got back. The food was delicious! The room we stayed in was nice and clean with a beautiful bathroom. I love the location of it being so close to all the main shopping in town. The only downsides were that it was pretty cold at night and the water pressure was very high and it was unfortunate that the elevator wasn't available. We can't wait to stay here again!

First and foremost, they had way too many rules when we upon checking and threatening to charge you for everything for anything. The room was disgusting full of black mold smelled like doggy Doodoo. The television didn’t work. They didn’t have maintenance on staff to fix it the bathroom floor was full of black mold yet we were threatened that if we got water on the floor and damaged that they would charge us $250. How can you damage a moldy tile floor probably clean it if anything The only thing that I liked about the entire unit was the curtains they were beautiful. The bed was very old and caved in the middle. This is room 20 one and smell like urine. I reported it to the front desk. She seemed to take down the notes, but I don’t think they clean their bedspreads because it smelled like Urine. We had to pay an extra $50 to bring a cat into the room which is ridiculous considering the room and how disgusting and dirty it was the cat went under the bed and came up on top of the bed and brought fur bunnies. Dust mites up onto the bed. It was very noisy at night. I could hear people partying the walls or paper thin this looks more like a truck hotel that’s been rundown. I went to use the main washroom off the lobby and it was absolutely disgusting. The pink soap dispenser had pink soap all over the wall and no paper towels. I don’t think the owners actually care about this place any longer. It would be nice to see someone buy it and clean it up. There’s some very beautiful antiques in that place. It just needs some TLC. I would call it hotel hell and I’m not a Karen. By the way we travel a lot and this is a disgusting motel if anything they need Gordon Ramsay to come save them.

Very Victorian. Beds were comfy. Room was big enough. We had room 214 and it had a refrigerator. The elevator is permanently inoperable. We had no ghost visits. 👻

I arrived at the Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee Arizona on Sunday the 26 of January. Our room was upgraded but was definitely not an upgraded room. It had two queen beds and a TV. The TV didn’t work my whole visit. The front desk attendant was no help he stated he knew nothing about TVs and that the server was probably down. The TV never worked. The restroom was dirty. The shower had hair and grime. The handle to turn the water on was terribly dirty and looked like it was never cleaned. The window had a huge space to where it didn’t fit the space it was in completely. The room was chilly all night even with the window heater on . The carpet was very dirty and the elevator was out of service. For the price, I feel they could have done a better job.

In case anyone is planning a trip to Bisbee and is planning on staying at the Copper Queen Hotel I would advise you look for other accommodations. We made reservations about 3 weeks ago. I had read both positive & negative reviews but it had two rooms available for the time we needed so we booked it anyway. We were given rooms on the 4th floor which would have been ok except the elevator they claim to have had apparently had not been in working order for quite some time. With several in our group with hip, knee or foot issues walking up four flights of stairs was not realistic. They did carry our bags up and we were told there was a back entrance so we didn’t have to climb quite so many stairs. Then dinner time came & we were told all but two meat or fish entrees were unavailable. Then all but two of the desserts were unavailable. This was not because they had had a busy evening serving other diners as the restaurant was (and had been) nearly empty. We were later informed by others the elevator has been out for years!

No elevators. If at all your mobility is limited will be difficult to get around. TV not live or free. Room not made up even though we asked. Wi fi connection poor. No phone in room & when use cell phone no answer at front desk. Refrigerator door not close. Toilet seat very small. Bed was comfortable though. Location central also

We wanted to stay at the Copper Queen during our visit to Bisbee because of its reputation and its history. And the hotel delivered in both respects, as it possessed an evocative decor that made it easy to visualize what it was like in its heyday. Yet while we enjoyed that and appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the amenities didn’t measure up to the price we paid. The bathroom in particular was in need of updating, with a soap dispenser that spewed liquid soap all over the place. While we’re glad for the experience, given the number of options in Bisbee there are probably others that deliver a more pleasant stay for the price.

Location is amazing and the most scary and haunted thing about this place is its severly the price is inflated for what you get. They say theres an ice machine on second floor....there isn't, we asked where should we get water from(usually next to ice machines are water dispensers), the front desk staff said use the tap water from sink bathroom 🤢. There mold and lots of issues with the bathroom, as well as an ominously creaky tub that feels like its going to break. I honestly haven't really enjoyed my stay. Its not worth it just go elsewhere 😮‍💨 its cool to look at and awww and ohhh at but stay elsewhere please. I booked it for one night and im thanking myself for only doing one night.
