I was really impressed with the overall cleanliness of this hotel. The pool is sparkling clean. The breakfast is good and hot. The beds are super comfy for a great nights rest. Good premium channels. Gym, computer area with printer. 24 hr. Coffee. But really what I will remember the most is the excellent staff here at Best Western Oplalika. They really treat u like family here. It feels homey and you're instantly at ease and comfortable. Great places to ear near by. I recommend Jacks down the street for some fire fried chicken and sides and the Honey Baked Ham across the street next to dominos. Special thanks to Ricky on days and Vijay at night, who hooks up the killer breakfast along with the nice lady from Nepal, can't remember her name. I give this hotel 5 stars for the service and hey put the H in Hospitality. Thanks guys. I'll definitely stay here my next trip to Alabama

We arrived early evening. Ricky was at the front desk and was kind and helpful getting us checked in. You can tell he knows how to do his job very well. The room was clean and we all got a good night's rest. If I had to give any complaints we wish they had refilled the sausage gravy from breakfast but only because what little we could get of it was delicious!

Good breakfast & friendly stuff, pool is very clean. Stayed there last month & really enjoyed the stay. Nice & quiet environment. Clean rooms & fluffy pillows. Great play to stay close to East Alabama Medical Center. Front desk agent is very helpful.

The room was fine. Large burn on the carpet. Fridge was cold, A/C was cold. No conditioner in bathrooms. Had to ask at the desk for it. There are 2 floors with no elevator. We had a lot of stuff and there were no rooms on the 1st floor available. the downstairs ice machine is right outside several rooms in the hallway. I wouldn't want to be those people. The breakfast was ok. No gluten free options. It's a great location, quiet street. Price was inexpensive compared to others.

The mattress was terrible! It had lumps and sloped to the side to make you feel like you would roll of the bed.

When using the vanity faucet, much water would flow out on the top of the vanity to soak what we placed there.

Upon checkout, I asked to speak to the manager about this. I was told the manager was not available until the next day. I asked to have the manager call me about this and comsider some refund, because I did not get my money's worth. The manager has not called me.

This was the biggest dump. At $400 a night, even though we knew the price was bumped up for game weekend, we assumed it would at least be decent. We were not expecting a 5-star hotel.|However, we arrived at 9 p.m. after traveling all day, to find that this $400 a night hotel didn't even have an elevator. It was also dark and gross and just nasty In hindsight we should have slept in the car.
