An inviting restaurant with a friendly staff. The place was about a third of capacity and the food was brought out pretty quickly. We shared a Monterrey Omelette with Hash Browned Potatoes. It was a nice sized plate and plenty for the two of us. Well cooked and very tasty. I’d recommend the restaurant if you’re in the area.

As a restaurant critic, I had the pleasure of dining at Sunny Side Up Cafe in Tucson, Arizona, and let me tell you, it was a stellar experience. I couldn't resist trying their renowned Catalina Special, and boy, was it a delight!

The dish consisted of two succulent sausage patties nestled on top of perfectly flaky biscuits. And let's not forget about the scrambled eggs that were expertly cooked to fluffy perfection. To top it all off, a generous drizzle of savory gravy elevated the flavors to new heights.

The combination of the sausage, biscuits, eggs, and gravy created a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate with every bite. The dish was not only visually appealing but also incredibly satisfying to taste. The ingredients were fresh, and the portion size was just right.

The service at Sunny Side Up Cafe was exceptional, with attentive staff who made sure my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place.

Wonderful staff and great food! This is a local breakfast spot with tons of regulars. Good mix of American comfort food and Southwest classics. It's a great place for meeting friends or family for a bite. Or for some food before you go hiking, hunting or off roading.

A nice local place where locals gather! A great home town vibe with lots of charm and great food. Celeste was one of the best servers I’ve ever had in the US. Ignore all the ketchup on my breakfast bowl pic. It doesn’t come that way. They also had some great specials including a lunch burger that I might have to go back and try. Looking for a small town homey vibe? This is it.

The best thing about this classic breakfast diner are the friendly people who take care of you. I also love the farm and country decor. You’ll find lots of breakfast and lunch options plus daily specials. It’s my go to breakfast spot when visiting my father in Catalina.

I love the breakfast options here. The photo shows their breakfast combo plate is shown with hash browns instead of fries. Choice of meats are all good, but I like the small sausages they serve. Best breakfast platter I have ever had!

Let's start with the orange juice. It tasted terrible. The food was greasy and the portions were small. The ambiance is old-time grandma's house and not in a good way. The staff was friendly, mostly older women who are being worked hard. My husband had a senior omelette and I had 2 eggs and some hash and it was $32, and that does not include the $7 tip I left. The saddest part is that I believe ot was the owner that took my payment. He did not smile or ask how my breakfast was. We won't go back.
