Stayed with Sharon for two nights— really nice place! Very clean, Sharon cooks delicious breakfasts, and conversation with her is great. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they look very nice. The outdoor area is fenced and great for dogs. My husband and our pets felt very welcome.

We had a great 3 nights stay at Bed and Bagels. We stayed with our 3 children in 2 spacious, comfortable and clean rooms with a bathroom. The pool was a great fun for kids. Sharon is a very welcoming, friendly and attentive host. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious and tailored to our kids needs (not always easy…). She gave us great advice on the local attractions. We really enjoyed the location of the place - in the quiet residential neighborhood, while canyons and desert very close to the house providing great opportunities for day trips. We felt at home and will for sure come back if we are again in Tucson! Thank you Sharon for this great stay!

Sharon is a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome. She makes wonderful breakfasts each day and really accommodates food preferences. We stayed for a week and there was something different and delicious each day. We also really enjoyed our conversations. We are very familiar with the Tucson area but she even had suggestions for things we had not yet done. Don't hesitate to book, staying here will make your stay in Tucson feel like you are coming home each evening!

Enjoyed our stay with Sharon. We had a great hike at nearby Sabino Canyon. And Sharon convinced us to check out the Desert Museum before we left town. Great breakfast, relaxing hot tub, and nice conversations with our host. Thank you!

I first went to the clean and comfortable home of Sharon Arkin eight years ago. I was there with a few friends of mine for several days. When I was passing through Tucson again recently my intention was to contact Sharon to see if she had space available for me - solo this time - for another visit of a few days. Based on my initial positive and fulfilling experience at Sharon’s B&B, I was truly looking forward to another rewarding experience where I felt welcomed and appreciated as the friendly guest that I am. Even without the companionship of my previous traveling companions, I was treated with kindness, courtesy and genuine respect. It was obvious that her personal warmth came from a sincere place because Sharon is truly a good person who really cares about the welfare of her guests. ||Once again, she was highly attentive to my needs and interests as far as comfort and convenience was concerned. We shared meaningful discussions of a sundry nature that I found stimulating, entertaining and informative. One of the highlights of my visit was watching a video documentary that Sharon recommended that featured the wildlife of the local desert terrain. It was a fascinating presentation that enhanced my appreciation of the magical place I was visiting for much too short a sojourn. I look forward to returning to Tucson when I have more time, and for sure I will hope to stay with Sharon at Bed and Bagels of Tucson. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Sharon’s home for a stay to be fondly experienced and remembered.

I'm so glad I found this place. Convenient to where I wanted to be in Tucson, and with a great host. Sharon is amazing and provides everything you'd want -- good company, lovingly prepared food, and good recommendations.

We picked Beds and Bagels because we thought we were going to bring our small dog on this trip, and they are pet friendly. We ended up leaving her home. Was very glad we stayed here. Sharon's breakfasts were excellent and filling. More than we could eat.|We enjoyed talking with her, and visiting with her dog and the friendlier of her two cats.||The King Bed was very comfortable, our room spacious. We had a good saok in the hot tub one evening, but didn't get around to using the pool. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

With her hospitality, Sharon Arkin of Bed and Bagels provided one of the highlights of our trip to Tucson and the Sonoran Desert. The house is gorgeous and spacious, architecturally harmonious with the beautiful desert setting. Despite being an octogenarian, Sharon is an energetic host, preparing outstanding breakfasts (and occasionally more) that show attention to creativity, detail and the need for a substantial meal to send us on our way for the day. Sharon is also a font of information about the city and the region, especially natural areas like Sabino Canyon where she is a volunteer. She has a wealth of books and videos that were available to us for reference, along with a basket full of binoculars to borrow — and a hot tub in the backyard! I could go on but I'll conclude by saying you'll be doing yourself a favor if you decide to stay at Bed and Bagels. I'll be back at the next opportunity!
