We recently had the pleasure of hiring Chef Sandra for our Women’s Empowerment Retreat in Mesa, Arizona, and it was an excellent decision. From the outset, she was incredibly professional and easy to communicate with, ensuring that we fully understood her offerings. Her preparation was impeccable, and she delivered on time without any issues.

The group thoroughly enjoyed both dinners, with many attendees expressing a desire for more. Chef Sandra's Mediterranean menu was a highlight, particularly her exquisite salmon, quinoa, and asparagus dish, which stood out as a personal favorite of mine. One attendee remarked that it was her first experience being served by a professional chef, underscoring the special nature of the occasion.

We hired chef Sandra as a personal chef for a private family event and she was absolutely fantastic!!! Communicative, prompt, professional, fun to work with, and most importantly the food was out of this world awesome!!!! Some of the highlights were the flatbread, the sea bass, and the chickpea stew. Truly everything was delicious, our group is still raving about our experience in the best way. Would highly recommend her!

Chef Sandra is a delight to work with, from initial questions about menu through final cleanup! She has a relaxed, capable, experienced manner -- and, of course, most crucial, she is an excellent cook! She had to field various complicating factors, like how to cook for certain guests who had food sensitivities to how to adapt to our discovering on the day of our birthday dinner that the ovens at our airbnb did not work! She was patient and unflustered throughout -- and our dinner was delicious! What a pro!

We have been to this amazing secret a few times. We had the Mazza Trio followed by Cypress Salmon with broccoli. Prepared perfectly. We also ordered the Baclava and got a special key lime treat for my wife’s birthday. ABSOLUTELY the best desserts ever. Our 10 year old even gave Chef a 5.3 of 5.0.

Chef Sandra, you have outdone yourself once again. Thank you for always taking time to ensure your customers feel welcome. You and your husband make a great team as Chef and Front of House.

1st time here. Found on Google with great reviews. This cozy spot was quiet on a Thursday around 5:30. About 8 tables, lounge area, a small bar inside, and a few tables outside at this strip mall location. While it's not upscale, the food was very good and full bar selections. We had the Mezza board ($24) Cairo platter ($25) chicken breast with mushrooms and creamy lemon sauce. ($24) from the bar, a Manhattan ($12), and Aperol spritz ($12) dinner bill was $106 before tip. Sawyer was attentive. Will be back.

I cannot express enough how amazingly professional, delicious, and efficient she was as our chef. We had a big group (12) in an AirBnB residence for a birthday weekend. I didn't know the layout and we were in an off-road residence. She was responsive and accommodating for our group and every course came out hot and delicious. I will definitely look for Taza first when I have my next event.

Outstanding is the one word I would use to describe our dining experience at Taza Bistro. One of the better restaurant meals we have ever had and I would give it 10 stars if it were an option. My wife and I were visiting from SoCal for our anniversary and decided to go Mediterranean one night while we were in Phoenix. Sondra was a gracious hostess and her attention to detail throughout the meal was superb. The meal was prepared from scratch from homemade recipes and well worth the wait (Europeans will understand what I am talking about). We both had the Caesar Salad and the slow cooked Salmon done in a garlic wine sauce(photos enclosed). Whether you live in Phoenix or are just visiting, this is one restaurant that should be on your to go list.
