This is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. Joyce went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We loved the community atmosphere of the shared campfire! It is conveniently located close to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Joyce has created a lovely inviting space and we hope to stay there again in the future.

On my first trip to Cabreza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge and Organ Pipe National Monument, I searched for a campground and could not be more pleased that I found Sonoran Skies. It is a clean, well maintained campground by a very conscientious owner. She is kind, friendly, and very customer oriented. She also sponsors a non profit organization, and, among other things, she delivers home cooked meals to homeless Veterans who live in their vehicles in the area. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely try to stay at Sonoran Skies and look forward to talking with the owner again.

Joyce is One of the Best Campground host, I've ran into in all our travels ! She makes sure you are comfortable and have anything you need!
I am an animal lover so enjoyed my resting time with all the chickens and rooster and Turkey!!! The turkey who loves to take walks . And then there's JOJO and Elsa..we looked forward to see the dogs come out to have snacks in the very nice dog park she has !!!
She sponsors the local food bank for the needy and veterans and works very hard at it to receive donations to accommodate them !
A Must stop for anyone in Why Arizona !!! Or for Ajo area or for crossing border at Lukeville!

We had a nice stay at Sonoran Skies Campground. Joyce the owner was very nice and helpful. We couldn't get our internet to work, so she gave us access to hers. She recommended Granny's down the street for breakfast. We had a good meal. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Sonoran Skies Campground. Joyce, the owner, is very hospitable. It is a small campground located near Organ Pipe NM and right off 85 if you are traveling. Full and partial hook-ups are available. Would definitely stay again!!

It is a nice convenient place to stay for a couple days as we visited Organ Pipe Cactus National Park. Joyce was a great host. She greeted us with bottled water after a long hot drive. She shared a binder full of information on the areas' points of interest. Nothing fancy, but a clean work in progress.

I used Sonoran Skies as my base for exploring Ajo, Organ Pipe NM, and other birding hotspots in the area in mid-April. Joyce was a delightful and attentive host, and she made my stay very enjoyable. She also gave my dog delicious homemade treats that she very much enjoyed! Because of the time of year, the campground was a bit quiet during my stay with only a couple other campers present, but that made for some good nights of sleep. I was staying in a travel trailer and my site had a good amount of privacy. If I ever find myself in this corner of Arizona again, I look forward to staying at Sonoran Skies again.
