Contacted them 4 weeks ago for help planning a cruise, no one has contacted me since no call or email. Unless you are planning a very expensive trip they don't have time for you, this was not my first bad experience with them but thought they deserved a second chance because they are a local company but I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future, I would never recommend that anyone waste their time with them

We worked with Jennifer to book our trip to Italy. She asked for basic ideas of things we were interested in and then built our dream honeymoon. The process was easy and she was great. We would give 6 stars if we could!

I would not recommend to anyone. Had a nightmare experience with this company. My agent was not very helpful or available at all prior to our trip. Usually people hire a travel agent to alleviate planning stress & help with preparation. It was genuinely more stressful using this company than if I had just booked everything myself through Expedia or something. Which I basically ended up doing. Not to mention the condescending & unprofessional comments that were made to me after we had some difficulty on travel & our resort reservation being cancelled. I don’t ever leave negative reviews but I felt I should to help others avoid the stress we went through. Save yourself the time & money.

I called about a month or so ago asking for information on a cruise . I was told so one would get back to me in 3 days . I waited 3 days no one called I called them back and still no information. Here we are a month later and no one as called or emailed me I finally booked with someone else. I gave 1 star becuase they did have my information when I called at least my information wasnt lost.

Creative Travel has officially lost my business and the business of 15 other people whom referred by me abs have paid money! I called to get a quote for my daughter on a trip to Colorado. I was told i would have the quote in a few days and that someone was working on It. I called back after a week from a different number than my personal cell phone to follow up. They were so nice until I gave them my name. Then i was told the office staff was sick and my quote will take longer than expected. After telling them that It seems as if they are giving me the run around… she admitted It. She (don’t remember her name) said no one in the office is willing to talk to me accept Cynthia because i was rude. I asked when was i rude She says back in August when you were planning your cruise! HA! And you’re just now telling me this in December. I would never refer anyone else to Creative Travel ever again due to the unprofessionalism and inconsistency when doing business.

Creative Travel was the best resource for all the information I needed to plan my first time cruise. There wasn't a detail that they weren't knowledgeable on. I highly recommend anyone traveling or cruising for the first time use this travel agency to get all the details they need since the people who work there have experienced most of the trips they're selling.

Joy was the best! She went the extra mile to help plan my daughter surprise college graduation trip. She kept me updated with the best resorts and prices with different areas of the Caribbean to help me make the right choice and the right resort. I was so indecisive on what to choose and had tons of questions and she help me right through it. She responded promptly through email and by phone.. I definitely will be using this service again!

I preface this review with facts from at least two additional travel agencies in an effort to ensure I do not have unreasonable expectations of Creative Travel. Based on my conversations with these travel agencies, I learned most travel agencies have Errors and Omissions Insurance which would be applicable to this situation. I contacted Creative Travel and asked if they had this insurance. Unfortunately, Creative Travel refuses to respond to my questions about this insurance.

Our Wyoming vacation was absolutely wonderful and with the best friends imaginable. However, we did experience several issues that Creative Travel could have prevented and should have been available to provide assistance but failed miserably. This trip involved a group of fourteen travelers.

Our original flight from Charlotte to Chicago was delayed at 2:21am with a new departure time of 3:15 pm on August 2 causing us to miss our connecting flight in Chicago. American Airlines sent a message with additional information saying "Choose your new flight" from Chicago to Jackson at 2:43 am. A representative from Creative Travel should have received this notification as well. This representative should have been on top of this problem and working to resolve the problem immediately upon receiving this notification (yes, at 2:21 am). American Airlines sent a second message at approximately 4:00 am notifying us of this delay. Creative Travel and the emergency number for Creative Travel were called numerous times for assistance beginning as early as 4:00 am. What is the purpose of an emergency number if you are not going to respond until normal business hours? Our first contact was with Rebecca Johns at 7:46 am stating she would contact us once she gets into the office. We also received a call from Melanie at 9:42 am informing us of a flight on Sunday resulting in losing 2 days of our vacation. This issue should have been resolved by this time since the first notification from American Airlines was sent at 2:21 am!! At 11:54 am all seven couples received an email apologizing for the flight delays and we would receive our updated flight information to travel on Sunday August 4th. It also stated they cancelled our reservations at The Best Western Desert Inn West Yellowstone. However, they are charging the 1st night as a cancellation charge and are not willing to waive the cancellation fee. Each couple was charged $352.46 for a total of $2467.22 by Best Western Desert Inn West for not providing a 24 hour notice of cancellation. WE did not receive a 24 hour notice which was totally out of our control and had no assistance from our travel agency to prevent the cancellation. Creative Travel should have stepped up to the plate and very strongly disputed this. Another important note regarding this problem is the fact that we purchased travel insurance. Based on my observations, this travel insurance is of absolutely no value. Whether this was booked through Creative Travel or American Airline Vacations this is UNACCEPTABLE.

In summary, we.... *lost 2 days of our vacation, *was charged $352.46 for a cancellation that was out of our control, *paid for travel insurance that is worthless, *received very little assistance from Creative Travel, *realized a third party (American Airline Vacations) was mixed into this cluster of errors. We are split into 2 groups in order to get a flight to Jackson, Wyoming, required to pay additional money for our seats and our accommodations in Jackson was not acceptable.

Booking this vacation months in advance, losing two days of an anticipated vacation which resulted in not being able to see everything we had planned and incurring additional unexpected cost is insulting.
