Samurai Sam's meets El Pollo Loco. I went while they were having the $6 regular Teriyaki bowl sale when they first opened. Rating this location is difficult, because it's a comparison between Hibachi grilled, and open flame grilled. Personally, I prefer Hibachi, but I do love the char provided by the open flame too. It's up to preference.

For Teriyaki Madness, the chicken is cooked just like El Pollo Loco, but flavored like Samsurai Sam's. The food is not spectacular, but it's somewhere I would go if I were in the area, and wanted "a pretty good Teriyaki chicken bowl."

The prices have me debating between rating them 3 or 4 stars. I would not hesitate to go back for a regular bowl for $6. Not many restaurants can match that price. But I can definitely tell that the quality of meat is lacking. Coupled with the fact that the normal price of the regular bowl is just over $9, I can recommend 3 different places that have better bowls than that, within a 10 mile radius of this location. I really want to give them 3.5 stars, because they don't deserve a 3 or a 4 star rating.

I'm giving them 4 stars because there's only one other similar eatery nearby (RA Sushi), and they're really only known for their sushi. Pei Wei is relatively close, but they are on the pricier side. So, they've chosen the correct type of cuisine, and a decent enough location for foot traffic.

They offer the basics, as far as a Teriyaki eatery goes, and offer multiple customization options that make the experience better. They're definitely worth trying out, if you're in the area.

Busy Saturday night, hot delicious teriyaki made fresh. While it might take a few more minutes than a rewarmed hamburger, it's totally worth it! The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection, the crispy tofu was the best I've ever had. I love that there are vegetarian/pescatarian/vegan options. The fresh vegetables were my favorite. We will definitely be back! If you haven't tried Teriyaki Madness, what are you waiting for?

Terrible customer service, dirty backroom and kitchen floor.

I called the number on the website because the app wasn’t working and no one answered. I drove to the location. I waited at the counter for about 10mins(zero employees at the counter). I went to knock on the kitchen’s door and this rude employee came out with a bad attitude and told me that they couldn’t help anymore customers because there was no employee and he had a sign at the door. The backroom was filthy, smelled bad and the kitchen floor was disgusting. I tried to explain the situation about the phone and the app but he was not listening. But, I was not going to place an order after seeing the backroom and kitchen. IF YOU CANT RUN A BUSINESS, CLOSE THE DOORS.

One visit may be all Teriyaki Madness gets from me. The food quality was average to good and was hot. The service was terrible. I stepped up to order and was asked an employee what I'd like and as I started to respond, he turned around and walked away. The next guy did take our orders, but needed multiple corrections and still got part of each person's order wrong. He was quick to point point the tip jar however. Waited about 15 minutes for two regular bowls in early afternoon. Not busy.

This location needs a competent manager on-site, ASAP.

Today was the second call ahead order I made for pickup. The first time I had ordered for pickup, it was not what I ordered. Had to go back. Luckily i noticed the first time to chrck before I left. Tip, always check your order before you leave to make sure its what you ordered. Today the second time, my order was never taken. Nothing was ready. My time was limited cause I am at work. Wasted time coming in for a pickup order. I have also seen an employee who is obviously under the influence of hard narcotics working. This new location needs better staffing and customer service. Simple improvements they could make.
