Loved everything about Butcher Block Catering for our wedding at Hope Barn and Gardens in North Phoenix from the food to the price to the service. Michael and Janine are the very best! All the guests loved the food and so glad even us as the bride and groom got to enjoy all of it! The grooms plate was totally clean in just a few minutes! 🙂 The Grazing table was perfect for cocktail hour and from what i remember everyone got though the buffet line very quickly as we had 2 lines. Only got a picture of the grazing table set up right now. Will use again for any big events!

Took the Thanksgiving Dinner cruise on Lake Pleasant. Very enjoyable. The food was just like homemade. The service great and very friendly. Cant wait to go again and have their prime rib dinner.

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating my mother’s 60th birthday on the Lake Pleasant Dinner Cruise, and it was nothing short of exceptional! Having cruised with them before, we’ve always enjoyed the experience, but this time, they took it to another level with their new dining partnership with Butcher Block.

The updated menu was outstanding—every dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were absolutely top-notch. Butcher Block truly delivered a dining experience that matched the beauty of the lake. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made the evening even more special.

Boarded the Lake Pleasant BBQ dinner cruise last Sunday evening (02/02/2025) with friends. To my surprise I noticed a different food vendor on board (Butcher Block Catering). Boy, were we in for a surprise! Probably the best brisket, (mouth watering juicy), I have had in ages, everything these folks served was top of the line and delicious!! The folks were easy to talk to, accommodating, helpful and friendly! If these folks had a local restaurant I know I would be a regular. Thank you Butcher Block Catering for making our early evening cruise a most memorable occasion! I’m looking forward to the prime rib dinner cruise.

My husband and I got married on 11/12/22 and we chose Michael & his team at Butcher Block Catering to cater our special day. They did a phenomenal job! We absolutely loved the grazing table & our dinner, and so did our guests. The presentation that was provided was simply beautiful, and the flavor of our food was simply delicious! Michael and his crew do an excellent job preparing the food and serving their guests. I have never tasted food with this much flavor. It's clear that Michael and his team put a lot of passion in the flavoring of everything they prepare. My favorites are (in no particular order) would have to be the Spinach artichoke dip, the Tri-tip beef and the MOST delicious Scallop Potatoes (Chef Michael's specialty). I don't really know what all is in those potatoes, but hey who doesn't like cheesy potatoes? They are a MUST try.
