I love the tiny coffee hut scene in Anchorage. We discovered Sleeping Lady via Hoogle Maps on the way to Whittier and enjoyed our quick stop. We got four giant coffees, including a raspberry truffle mocha, which was a little too sweet for me but delicious nonetheless. Stop by and give it a shot.

My son and I frequent this place during the week. Sometimes we've gone on the weekends, like today and it's always a different, random person who doesn't usually know what we want. My son went today and the lady was very pleasant and my son gave her our order and while making it, she proceeded to make conversation. Our coffees werent right at all and we believe the conversation and pleasantries must have distracted her. There's no number to call to speak to someone and I've left messages before but no one calls back so I don't bother anymore. My coffee is always the same, large sugar free salted carmel latte with an extra shot . Today's coffee was just espresso and milk. No syrup. My sons americano was almost black and too sweet. Just beware and try your drinks before you pull away.

Ordered a 20oz Mocha. Left some room for improvement... it's not the worse coffee I've ever had, which earned the 3 stars, but a lot hides in a mocha. It's not dump it out bad, but it could've been better 🙂 obviously the other reviewers have had better luck than I!

I love sleeping lady! The service was great, and the drinks are always perfect. The location is nice and easy to get to and from, and the shop appears very clean and cozy. Best place to get coffee in Alaska!

This coffee shop, open from 6am-4pm only, is located just behind Liberty Tax Service on Benson Blvd near Cst, and offers great coffee at a great price. I'm having the Irish cream wedding cake latte! Mmm mmm! Definitely a great cup of coffee!

2024: they know. Roll up after weeks if not longer of coming by, nothing on them, just life. Pick up as if nothing changed, know the account to associate with me. Uncanny. These ladies are magic and if i could invest with them i would.

2023: the only coffee hut worth a damn. Consistently great Specials, good rewards system, always clean, seem to have staff that have it together, owner is actively involved. Would always recommend.

2022: Only had one instance where the drinks were incredibly off. Otherwise they've been spot on, offering some items we don't find at other shacks.

Do be aware most things on the food menu seem to be made for sitting down to eat.
Cinnamon roll is an entire plate.
There is no eating the burrito and driving safely.

This is the wife's favorite spot.

Fairly priced, delicious drinks, quick service and friendly baristas! Their specialty coffee drinks all sound delicious, but if the menu isn't speaking to you, the barista will be glad to help figure out a flavor with you. Great choice if you're looking for something other than a massive chain with a short list of flavor options. Milk alternatives available as well.

Fantastic service, excellent coffee using Kaladi Bro beans. They keep a binder of their daily specials so you can request favorites if you remember which day they were (roughly). The Busy Bee is absolutely delicious. Convenient midtown location .
