Coffee was phenomenal! Gave pup cups and treats to our doggos. Service was great, friendly staff. I wish they grilled the croissant and not microwaved (too soft). Overall, it's a great coffee shop to stopby before a long drive

I have been a regular at The Awakening for a while now. My coffee is always made well. Anytime I have had an issue, and brought it up they remake the coffee with a smile. The baristas are friendly and welcoming. I’ve waited a while to rate them. This rating is consistent great coffee over the past 4 years.

Friendly staff. No line and quick service.
I wish they had the syrup flavors posted, would make ordering a bit easier.

Coffee was smooth with a strong flavor. The hot lattes come out HOT.. perfect when you take a bit to drink them.

They seem like decent people but they need to seriously start writing down the orders instead of trying to look cute standing at the window, more times than not I will give them an order with 2-3 drinks and it seems like every time they seem to make at least 1 of them wrong. I just don’t understand how something so simple can be so difficult, and it doesn’t help that they charge almost 8$ for a drink that they can’t even make right, good luck getting a tip let alone my service.

This is still my favorite place on the days they get it right - BUT lately it’s been inconsistent and really difficult to get the same drink 2 times in a row. When I ask for half sweet sometimes it’s half sweet and PERFECT and sometimes it’s so full of ice and so nauseatingly sweet and syrupy I have to throw it away and waste 6 dollars. Like why can’t it be half sweet all the time like I ask?My point is- I’m all for supporting local and spending 6 bucks on an americano if it’s done correctly.

Sadly, I’m almost done coming here because it’s just so hit or miss 🙁

Yummy coffee. But my bagel was so stale it wasn’t edible. I was in a rush so I couldn’t turn back. Please throw out expired food in a timely manner
