I never write a review but this place was worth it. This motel is quiet, simple, COMFORTABLE, friendly, clean place! We loved it and will come back again. Is near enough all attractions, but far away from it all. The pool was awesome!!!! The price was the best for the area. I thought we were going to end up in a dumpy motel. I was pleasantly surprised!!!

If you want a simple and quiet place where kids can run around freely, this is the place. Highly recommend this place for families with kids.

Stayed 5/10-5/13, 2013 while in the area for a wedding. The motel is older, but spotless. Friendly helpful owners. No restaurant on site, but just a very short drive to a number of eateries. Room had a mini fridge for leftovers, which was appreciated. Also very near Ho Chunk Casino. Pool was not yet open, but is available during warmer months. An excellent choice for the budget conscious traveler.

At first I was skeptical with the site of the hotel (Made me think of Bates Motel) being in the middle of no where but my husband and I slept well. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner got the room nice and cool within a short time while we were at the casino, extra pills were in the dresser draws. $65 flat rate for one night, we will definitely go back if we ever decided to visit the Dells again.

I have to question some of the prior reviews with respect to cleanliness & comfort. Stayed here on several occasions given its close proximity to The Dells. While it does lack some of the modern amenities, it is clean and comfortable. Its a great play to relax and unwind. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. Affordable with a great location..close to the HoChunk Casino and the various attractions in The Dells.

First off, I was asked by management when I arrived who it was that was dropping me off. There were no cars in the lot and I had gotten a ride to the motel from my sister because my car was out of commission for the night. The room smelled like and old, mildewy attic. There was no hot water until morning time. I had to wash my hands and face in freezing cold water. The towels were stained too. When I woke up in the morning to check out, the manager of the motel was standing in front of my door, which was disturbing because it made me feel like I was being watched all night. She hounded me about someone supposedly staying with me and threatened to call the police. All in all it was a horrible stay and I wouldn't do it again or recommend it to anyone.

i remember driving to Florida with my grandparents as a kid. And all the awesome roadside attractions and motels along the way that are missing these days with global corporate chains with no style charm or charisma. They could take a few notes from this family and the greatest unkown hotel in the area. Hands down and KUDOS

This has to be one of the worst motels I have stayed at. There were no room phones but a phone on a pole in the parking lot for credit card calls only. The coffee shop would not be open for two weeks yet if at all. The room windows were all open on a 50 degree all day rainy day and all the bedding, towels, etc. were damp. There was no heat available but told that there was an extra blanket to keep warm with. The bed was a broken down mattress that was only about 6 inches above the floor and covered with a plastic tarp type sheet. There was no safety lock on the door and only one towel & washcloth for two persons requiring a trip to the office for more.
