Breakfast was average. Definitely not bad, but not wow either. šŸ³ Coffee was served hot and definitely hit the spot. ā˜•ļø 3/5 āļøs Food was simple. The servers are difficult to find and have little interest in being attentive.
Maybe a different spot for breakfast, but a great place to have a draft beer šŸŗ from a local brewery šŸ‘Œ
The Copper Queen is a stunner 🤩 so, definitely worth a visit. Also, haunted šŸ‘» so that is worth it right there for sure!

I never leave reviews and I’m a very patient person, but this one got to me. Me and my girlfriend walked in on a Saturday evening and were informed there might be a short wait. With only two other tables seated, we didn’t expect to wait long—that’s on us. Lesson learned.

We ordered drinks and a salad to share, which came out relatively quickly. However, we overheard another table’s order had issues, and as time dragged on (over an hour and a half), we debated leaving. Drinks and water sat empty for 20 minutes before the server returned, finally refilling waters and reassuring us that our food would be out soon.

When the food arrived 20–30 minutes later, it was disappointing—overcooked steaks and bland flavors. At this point, we were too hungry to complain and tried to salvage it with salt and pepper, though the shakers barely worked. By the time our drinks were finally refilled, we were nearly done eating, and no new tables had been seated since we arrived around 5:30 pm. It was close to 7:30 pm when we finished.

Hoping to end on a better note, we ordered dessert to go. They didn’t have chocolate options, so we settled for cheesecake with chocolate syrup. The slice was small, overpriced, and came with no plastic utensils. The server kindly gave us metal utensils, likely sensing our frustration.

While the server was friendly and seemed to care, the overall experience lacked quality service and food. At $200, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, this was far from worth it. The only good thing was the architecture/style of the hotel…

We came here for Thanksgiving dinner, on recommendation from our hotel. The service was lackluster at best. Someone dumped buffet tickets at our table without a word, so we were left to guess how the dinner system worked. No cutlery until we got up and asked for it. All the staff we encountered seemed disinterested and/or spaced out, creating an awkward atmosphere. The icing on the cake came when they added a 20% gratuity to our check without even telling us ahead of time that that is their policy. When we were a party of 4, that was unexpected. Would definitely not go there again.

Well we were greeted by Kelly and she was super nice, told pizza or entrees OR drafts all unavailable! Ordered turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries and have been waiting 1/2 hour! Kelly informed us that the fryer is not work so cook is frying fries in fry pan each order! Pretty disappointing….. visiting from Chicago with local family, unfortunately won’t revisit here. NOT WORTH $17 for this sandwich!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ended up walking out after waiting nearly an hour for a medium rare steak and eggs Benedict. Server never checked on us even after I walked in and asked about our food after 35 minutes after ordering. I was told 5-10 minutes as our food was behind a large party of 6. (Who also ended up walking out.) Coffee came out cold.

My server was extremely nice and helpful. I got an appetizer and drink while i was there and then ordered a entree to bring back to my room. I got a lemon drop and i was expecting those small martini glasses but i actually got a fair sized drink. I think there was a little too much bacon on the scallops and the pasta was a little under cooked but everything still tasted good.

I really fought myself with leaving a review, because I am not one to ever leave a negative review… that said, I have been angry since last night and feel the need to leave some feedback.

Our bill was $96 before gratuity. My husband ordered the steak, and by all accounts he was quite happy with his steak. Granted, he commits a cardinal sin and orders it well done but that’s on him. He did not touch the asparagus but that’s usual. He was happy with how the steak came out and he appreciated a male server who came to ask him to cut into the steak upon placing it in front of him to ensure it was cooked to his liking. He felt that was a great touch of service.

I ordered the caprese salad. I regret not taking a photo because it was very sad looking, and it tasted even worse. It came on a huge plate, and looked like the portion could feed the whole table, which is nice, right? Not when it tastes awful… I was so hungry that day after walking quite a bit and waiting for a nice meal. Unfortunately, I discovered the tomatoes had no flavor, it was as if they had gone to a Safeway and gotten out of season mass produced large steak tomatoes and cut them up real thick. They didn’t dry off the slices, so all the liquid ran to the base of the place and caused a soggy nasty mess as it mixed with the cheap tasting balsamic sauce and basil. The basil leaves were somehow flavorless, which really surprised me. They had five dime sized small balls of mozzarella, which tasted like nothing special, but I felt there could have been more on the plate. I ate as much as I could because I knew I needed food in my stomach and we had plans following dinner. It was not good. I was sad. I had also ordered a side of fries to get some more flavor and UGH the fries were gross! They were thick cut and raw in the middle and it looked and tasted like they used old oil to cook them in. Our dinner guest ended up eating them as his dinner came SUPER late so I didn’t bother saying anything negative or sending them back. He said they tasted bad but he was equally starving as he waited for his delayed meal.

Wait times: we arrived at 5:15 and didn’t get our food until about 6:30. Hence my hunger and motivation to eat despite it not tasting good.

My other biggest complaint: the AC was insane!!! These two wall units were set to 61 degrees and it was FREEZING inside. We asked for it to be turned up a little and the waitress wasn’t able to get it working to adjust it, which is 100% not her fault.

Our waitress was kind and seemed to be the only one working for the majority of the night serving the whole dining area. She was lovely and attentive and I appreciate her. I know none of this is her fault. I did overhear her breaking bad news to several tables regarding issues with their orders or running out of ingredients. Again, not her fault.

My biggest gripe is, the quality of food was similar to a chain diner like Dennys. I would not have paid more than $25 for our whole meal and drink with how lack luster and sad it tasted. The steak was not worth $55, and my fries and caprese were gross and flavorless. I wish I had said something in the moment to send it back but I was exhausted and hungry and we had a friend join us.

I had high expectations of this place from other reviews and was so disappointed with our experience. I don’t know what’s going on, perhaps economic hardships or lack of available ingredients or staff, but this was not okay. I’ve heard similar things from locals, which I regret not asking ahead of time as I would have gone elsewhere. I hope the restaurant can make changes as it is in a great hotel. I would love to see them do better. Again, staff were friendly but the actual food and physical environment was not good. Hopefully this is a temporary thing and perhaps in the future we can try again.
